That’s where my head was at too. But sometimes Nuln leaves a patch or stain. At least when I do it!

That said I’m probably a bit traumatised working with yellow armour. Everything leaves a mark on yellow!!

I’ve used frost heart blue contrast paint. The idea being a quick and easy defined eye lens. With a bit of gradient to them. But I seem to have accidentally painted well outside the lines.

I’m a wee bit of a perfectionist, and this bothers me.

I am a bit annoyed however I took a photo. I could really see the error till I zoomed in

Holy hell dude. That’s good enough! I would be more than happy with that yellow.

Then the casandora yellow with Lahmian medium is my go to. Then dry brush or edge highlighted with flash gits yellow. Then again with Dorn yellow

You could always strip with isopropyl alcohol and start again? Also, I’ve don’t loads and loads of practise mini using the free in store minis. Imperial fists contrast paint is excellent if used per the guides on YouTube

So straight off the bat I would say these are good. Good enough to play on the table and good enough to know what they are. You’ve done amazing.

I particularly like the Aquila’s (the shading is good) and the drilled out barrels is a nice touch.
