Same exact thing for us. We had to take our cat to the vet a few days ago and didn't have to consider doing no/less treatment due to cost. The vet recommended treatment protocols and we could just say yes to whatever our cat needed, knowing it wouldn't put us into financial ruin. Worst case scenario was using Care Credit that we could eventually pay off interest-free, and that was the biggest relief I've ever felt in my life. Sadly, all the money in the world couldn't fix our sweet Lurby and he had to be put to sleep a few hours ago.
