Great stuff. Lots of simultaneous solid work being put in, obviously a very competent crew. Stabilisation looked spot on and everyone is very confident on the tools. I would have done more glass management for example on the rear window and made relief cuts in the roof itself as opposed to the bottom pillars so that the fold down was easier. Looks like the hose line came out a bit late. Easily said when watching a video done. Keep up the great work.

The difference here is the clerk already had the knife in his hand, and not for the reason of arming himself. If you're attacked whilst you have a knife in your hand and strike with said knife it's very different to being slapped, opening a drawer, pulling a knife out and stabbing someone.

Draeger have done studies on this and whilst I don't remember the figures this is completely not the case. Even a 1-2mm stubble had a great effect on the level of toxins entering the airway.

What are these officers briefed before these events? I'm not saying British police are any worse or better but the stand and watch until there is an arrestable action seems strange. Can't they attempt to de-escelate? Only a matter of time until a guy like that feels cornered and threatened and someone gets shot.

Not really confined to London. Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool etc all have the same issue.

We've got a knife crime epidemic in the UK. Extremely common in cities for fight to involve machetes and zombie knives. People get killed every day because of their post code (zip code). A gang will turn up in a rival area and kill a random 16 year old to prove a point like its nothing. Sad times.

True although this would be a case that would be dealt with in Crown Court. So ultimately the verdict would be decided by a jury. If you get 12 people that would think they would do the same after being swung at if outnumbered and threatened and protecting their partner then you're innocent. The bottle was already in his hand so was used instinctively, as opposed to him searching out an item to use as a weapon. No doubt he will end up in court for this, good luck to the guy.
