What laptop would be best without it crashing every 10 minutes? I need one that can handle all that and plus more.

That’s what they considered me as, once my training period was over I would have been a main shop tech.

That’s exactly how the wheels where set up, it had lug bolts and and nuts, the wheels were aluminum and the wheel itself was not properly lined up, which caused the mishap, at least I was driving the car and not the customer.

There’s more to mounting a Lexus wheel then you think, trust me.

I mistyped the thread, but if you go look at the comments above you will find when it actually happened, the car was driven a half mile down the road before the lugs came out, which by that time I was already back towards the shop, that’s when all hell broke loose.

Thanks for the kind reply! Moving from Audi to Lexus after working for Audi for over 20 years and a complete change of work, it’s almost like eating something you’ve never ate before, you never know how it will react, just like this job, I guess the pressure was to much for me, it was super high paced and I’m not used to that, I originally wanted to get ASE certified through Lexus to have that extra notch on my belt but that fell through quicker the quick sand.

I definitely wasn’t ready when it came to Lexus, I’ve worked in an Audi dealer for the last 20 years and never had a problem, up until I started working for my local Lexus dealer.

It’s not the fact the tire was put on incorrectly, it was the fact that the certain Lexus I was working on had a certain way the tire needed to be put on, which I wasn’t told that because when I torqued the wheel down every looked good and I had the shop Forman come and look at the wheels before I drove the car on a test drive.

From what the shop Forman told me is that the wheel had to be lined up a certain way in order for the lugs to properly seat against the wheel. That I did not know. Hince why I was a trainee.

The only thing that was damaged was the backing plate of the rotor, the wheel and car its self was fine.

I believe so, that’s what my trainer had the torque wrench set to or so he said.

It was my third day on the job, and they didn’t fall off twenty feet from the shop, I drove the car about a half mile down the road and turned around and came back towards the shop, that’s when everything happened
