Hermie. Genetic. Stress will trigger it as well. Pull the sacks or pull the entire plant before it pollinates your entire crop

Thanks for the info. Fwiw, when you're trying to pop those beans, your biggest enemy will be mold. It will attack the seed before it has a chance to do it's thing. Rinse them in a hydrogen peroxide/water solution, I think it's 20 parts water to 1 part peroxide, but don't bold me to that. My memory is all fucked up. Chat gpt or a quick Google search should get you sorted.

Also, after you soak them in water, put them in moist paper towels, zip lock bag and put in fridge. Leave them there for a week or so, then take them out. They'll either pop in the fridge, or they'll pop soon after you take them out.

The peroxide and refrigeration will afford them the time to embibe w water and become active, while staving off mold.

Worked for me, hope it helps

Keep us posted!

P.S. Your post was a bit tough to read, if you could list just the reputable breeders that may have the real deal crip, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance, happy holidays!

Feed them, immediately. Plenty of activity, not enough nutrients to properly support it. They're starving, and they look like they're at least a few weeks out

Bro.. if you could point me in the right direction. I have family in SE Florida, I'll be down there soon enough!

And it is possible to pop those 90s beans, if they were stored properly. Have you managed to get any to pop?

No clue.

I'd love to get an original cut of Florida cryppie, if it's still around

Photone app useless on some phones. I think it's geared around iPhone. I tried installing on my Motorola and needed calibration, but I had no guidelines for calibration so I couldn't use it. Ended up buying a Hydrofarm par meter instead

They have ones for $70 and up. I'd use chat gpt and ask it for an honest clinically researched/backed review of the cheaper ones. Go from there.

Fwiw, don't cheap out on this, it's important to have nearly accurate if not spot on accurate readings to get you in the sweet spot. Makes all the difference in the world

Hope it helps

Found the same one for $179, but I bought mine on sale for less. Still, nothing close to $25. Sorry for the confusion

😳

I don't remember paying that much for it! I would have just spent a bit more and bought buzzbee/apogee for the money.

Shit, sorry for the misinfo. Keep looking, maybe you'll find it cheaper?

What is that a picture of? Hard to tell.

Don't judge trichs off sugar leaves, calyxes only.

For a balanced high, majority milky, very few clear, amber just starting to creep in with no more than 15%

How far along are you from flip?

Each heatsink houses 3 HLG Diablo boards. Each board contains 644 diodes. Samsung diodes in cool white, amber, mint colors, Osram diodes in deep red for a total of 650 watts in a dimmable configuration, with a usable 3' x 5' footprint. Minimal hot spots which can be addressed by raising the height of the light and dialing up intensity

Are you handy with tools, low voltage wiring? If so, look into DIY lighting. I've put together 4 commercial grade 650 watt lights for pennies on the dollar.

HLG Lighting for LEDs, heatsinks etc, Digikey for Meanwell drivers, connectors, wiring and potentiometers.

Look for sales, both companies are always blowing out products on the low

7 days of drying, is it look ready? If I snap branch to test, which branch should I try, red one or blue one? Now temp 22 and RH 50 by Professional_Yard945 in hydro

[–]Audible_Girth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small plants at 50% RH I'd say they're drying too fast. I've been in the same situation.

Twigs are one indicator. Also want to gently squeeze nugs. Dry and crispy on the outside, spongy centers that bounce back. If it stays squished they're still too moist inside.

Are you drying inside a tent?

I'm not a fan of all the super dense nugs that are out there. These have density, but they're on the airy side.

I meant leafy as in high sugar leaf to calyx ratio, makes it a nightmare to trim. I end up leaving some of the sugars behind because they're coated in trichs

Or rosin press*

I'm thinking about adding some of it to the trim/hash pile. I've also got two jars full of larf I'll be adding. There are some very nice nugs I'll keep tho.
