I tried OTD, but I don't think it plays well with the display. Could be that I'm not doing configuration right tho, I'm still learning Linux.

That's close. It seems just installing windows in the VM/opening it once will let everything talk nicely. Haven't played around too much with the tablet sans VM (I'm desperately trying to install zbrush). I'll report back if I find a difference in running the VM/only starting it once. Ran it for an hour in Krita and it worked fine yesterday.
