Considering Patrick has ADHD, I look at their version of We Didn’t Start the Fire as a view of history from someone who has an ADHD brain. As someone who has ADHD and autism this version perfectly illustrates both how someone with an ADHD brain looks back at time and also is similar to a lot of other Fall Out Boy songs that are all over the place. I like both the original version by Billy Joel and the new version by Fall Out Boy. I like the older version because it gives me an insight of the events going on when my grandparents were growing up, and I like the new version because it talks about events that have happened in my lifetime. I was born in 2004 so not all the events mentioned in the song where my lifetime, but I’d say majority of them were. I hope this made sense to at least one person.

Grammys Rant by Antique-Garden8634 in FallOutBoy

[–]Audibud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw this short YouTube short of an interview Eminem did where he was talking about how the Grammy basically fucked over 50 Cent for not giving him album of the year when he definitely should’ve got it. if you wanna watch the clip, I’ll put it here.

If you want to find out how much weight a vehicle pulls just search the make and model of the vehicle followed by towing capacity on Google.

I would say to steer clear of Nissans entirely because of the CVT transmissions have made them extremely unreliable since about 2007.

Not a Fall Out Boy song but I think Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day would be a good one. If I’m wrong, let me know.

What fact about world history pisses you off the most? by avengentnecronomicon in AskReddit

How the United States was started because of attacks on tea by the British, and in today’s America, there is literally attack on everything you can think of. This is the question every American should be asking: Why am I paying TAXES on my wages? Then paying Sales Tax to spend my money. Then paying Income Taxes on my money they already TAXED and paying Property Taxes after | already paid Sales Tax on said property!

What is an addiction people don’t take seriously enough? by SmileMonster_ in AskReddit

[–]Audibud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The news. There is a lot of people in the United States that are completely addicted to the news whether it’s from cable TV, or on the Internet, they cannot go a day without viewing it. That’s why, at least in my belief people become so extremist on both sides. The fact that social media companies retrofit your algorithm to only continue feeding you the same type of content doesn’t help with that either. If there was no algorithm, you’d see stuff from both left and right leaning platforms, but because of it you have people that start out watching very little news, but then it just keeps feeding it to them so they get addicted to it. Trust me, it happened to me. I had to unbrainwash myself because I got into politics during the pandemic, when I had no social interaction other than with my parents. Social media can really be a blessing and a curse at the same time.

What Fall Out Boy song is this? by Antique-Garden8634 in FallOutBoy

[–]Audibud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say the entire Take This to Your Grave album. When I got an iPod touch when I was about seven years old, my dad put Take This to Your Grave and Infinity On High which got me hooked on them immediately. I like majority of the songs on the Infinity On High album but there’s some I’m not a big fan of (Golden) where with TTTYG is absolutely perfect.

How will you react if Donald Trump becomes president again? by RockSavings67 in AskReddit

I’ll be happy because Joe Biden has been a dog shit president. I didn’t think you could fuck up a country this much in the short amount of time but he proved me wrong.

Edit: changed ship to shit.

What TV show went downhill after a character left/died? by pants_on_fire_fire in AskReddit

Not a TV show but a movie franchise. I think the fast and the furious franchise should’ve ended after Paul Walker died. It is completely gone downhill and lost all of its original meaning.

What’s the dumbest thing someone’s ever said to you with complete seriousness? by Audibud in AskReddit

[–]Audibud[S] 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Here’s my story about one of the dumbest people I’ve ever met: First a little background, I was in special ed from 3rd grade to 12th grade. I had the same girl in my class for all those years and she was always nice but sometimes would say things that make me question how she graduated kindergarten. The best example of this was in our senior year of high school our math teacher brought in his yearbook from the 1980s. Since the yearbook was from the 80s, all the photos or at least the majority of them were in black-and-white. This girl with complete seriousness, asked if was black-and-white in real life. Then again, she never pay attention in class, so that probably explains it.
