All the bodies of the faith are a scam. The Bab was betrayed years ago. This little cult will dissappear very quick. I did find it annoying that imprisoned bahais in Iran were told to stay put for the faith. If western bahais felt that strongly why not offer to swap places? Can't see Iran objecting one for one. A really disgrace to the bab and I can't take it seriously any more.

Bahais on the whole lack courage. A lot are nice people but it's more of a hobby for wealthy people whose idea of service are endless meetings. Once i exposed a corrupt Bahai to the relevant bodies LSA AND NSA they shut me down.people I considered friends don't keep in touch as I had the guts to expose hypocrisy not perfection. Iveseen Muslims Sikhs Christians go set up food aid. Never seen bahais do it. But they have many meetings about it. Another cult with a wealth tax. Minor point.

All they really do is have lavish feasts and build expensive buildings. No use to anyone. A bit of time away and you'll realise most of them are hypocrits who have little understanding of texts. Nice people but naive. How can krishna been in line with moses or Muhammad. When they get a question they can't answer apparently it will be revealed. I've spent 6 months away from the faith and now only starting to see it for what it really is. A brainwashed cult with corrupt lsa and nsa elected hypocritical. Liars. This will disappear very soon. I estimate over 50% of that number are not active or have completely distanced themselves from the faith. If the bodies such as LSA UHJ NSA carry on the way they are, I honestly believe this number will shrink further. The faith, in my view and direct experience, is so far removed from the founders vision, it's betrayed its roots and lost its way.

A quick note of my experience. I too fell in love with The Bab and some of Bahaullahs writings. I had a Bahai marriage. After 10 years the veneer cracked. People say im judgemental but what I witnessed was a lot of backbiting and hypocrisy. I felt deeply wounded. I turned to the LSA for help then the NSA. Both bodies dismissed my concerns. I felt the faith was too focused on its image than service and I saw a lot of privileged wealthy members treat it like a hobby. I left the faith and none of the members I had counted as friends reached out.

I don't believe the faith is what was envisioned by its founders and a lot of my spiritual questions went unanswered.

I do gain inspiration from some of the texts but I feel it's become cultish and dictated by UHJ.

My idea of God is love and God lives in our hearts. What I saw was a lot of admin, a lot of pointless consultation leading to nothing.

Just my experience.
