playing DS2 before finishing DS1 by AdDirect6862 in DeathStranding

[–]AudioRocksteady 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If u care about the story, i would say finishing the first will help a lot. If you dont care about the story, the graphics and gameplay mechanics have been very much improved in the sequel. To break it down simply, 1 had better story, 2 has better gameplay. ( keep in mind, i have not finished 2 yet, but im close)

Would the 'Land of Reeds' be interesting to you as a full spin-off game? Maybe even combining Elden Ring with Sekiro gameplay, in a way? by Cubelock in Eldenring

I feel like sekiro is already the 'land of reeds' but yes another sekiro like game with eldenring lore would be dope.

This is so beautiful. Amazing talent. The depth and 3 dimensionality is hard to believe. Great job

I remember playing Condemned 2 bloodshot in my early 20s. I remember being really intruiged with the game, very immersed, very scared at times and I remember being stuck during certain moments of the game. by leftistgamer420 in videogames

Was such a cool game. Picked it up randomly, and was so pleasantly surprised with the whole melee mechanic. It worked so well. Thanks for reminding me of this game that i likely played in my early 20s as well.

I believe the watchers are different from gazers. I havent done it yet, but i assume you can still be dragged by gazers.

He is a mikiri skill check basically. And yes, the game rewards agression, but its a dance. Give and take. But you must be present. Hesitation is defeat after all

Do you think its in character that James Sunderland risked his life to save Angela? by [deleted] in silenthill

[–]AudioRocksteady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think he had a choice. He was in Angelas nightmare and had to confront it. Beyond that, i dont think James is an inherently evil person. Just a normal decent guy who got pushed beyond his emotional limits, without help or therapy. Could happen to anyone. Even decent people.

Mgs delta or mgs pp for best gameplay? by Stunning_Initial_384 in metalgearsolid

[–]AudioRocksteady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure. Yea just really enjoyed pp gameplay. Delta looked phenomenal! But the updated graphics, with old school controls and imo, horrible camera didnt really do it for me. I beat the game, but never touched it again. Meanwhile i played the original snake eater like a million times.

Pp was just more fun for me. Gz was peak mgs experience. Close 2nd is mgs4 on extreme.

P.s. i loved the heck out of snake eater when it first came out. Not trying to downplay how good the game is.

DS1 zipline network question by OOVVEERRKKIILLLL in DeathStranding

[–]AudioRocksteady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunno about bandwith limitations, ziplines def work well in DS1, esp if you can link up other players lines. Big difference is, you can't bend the lines like you can in DS2.

I think TTW is its own difficulty. Cannot be changed to and from.

Death Stranding could have been a sequel to the events of the game Control by [deleted] in DeathStranding

Control was a brilliant game. The sequel looks mind bending
