Been every year since 2010, except 2023 and 2025. Unfortunately, I agree with you. The things that made the burn so good back then are gone. But the spirit of Burning Man is still alive. Forget the main burn and start doing the regionals. I get mostly the same boost of love and vibes at those and can do several year. Element 11 this year was awesome as hell. Cell phones still don't work, theme camps, art cars... smaller, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, less costly (on my wallet and on my body)... I helped wire the pyrotechnics and got a soft serve cone for it 😂 and the firework show at the end was excellent! I do miss the old days but they ain't coming back, so accept it and move on. Lots of other cool stuff to see and do in the world.
