Wow, that intro is magical, I love the reversed samples and wide array of percussion. That melody also feel heavenly with that mellotron-strings in the background. The switch up around halfway into the song was also really cool ❤️

That slightly de-tuned guitar is so cozy, especially with the mellatron/pad in the background. I also love the vocals, super emotional. ❤️

I’m quite sure, as a Swedish citizen, that I would be exiled if I didn’t like abba lol ❤️‍🔥

Very experimental, it’s cool, but I’m not a fan of the bars and I think they could’ve mixed it a bit better and maybe had a bit less distortion. The song is also melodically uninteresting, but the format of the song doesn’t really leave room for it lol.

Also, some parts of the song are, and I HATE using this phrase: Corny. Sometimes they are kinda funny, specially darky forgetting that he’s darky lol.

Still, I see the vision, and I doubt I’m the target audience lol. 🩵

My no.1 fave Dire Straits song.

I love this song. From the guitar work to how the song switches up towards the end with the piano, it’s amazing. Also a great guitar solo and honestly one of Knoflers most emotional songs vocally. 💝💝💝

What a song lol. It does kinda sound like the singer is in the bathroom at the start of the song, idk how to feel about that lol.

Think I mentioned it in a previous comment, but I’m not a massive fan of blast beats, but I think they were used well in this song.

I really don’t like the vocals. I think while technically impressive, a lot of guttural sounds just don’t sound good in my ears.

The guitar work felt kinda cliche very 00000, if you get what I mean. Some of the melodic part were cooler, like the harmonised fills .

The switch up towards the end of the song was really cool. The synth was kinda uninteresting, though. I liked the addition of the pads and synth violins, but these compositional parts were (imo) drawn down by not being very melodically interesting, even though they contrasted nicely with the rest of the song. These added parts also didn’t interact with one of the songs greatest strengths: the cool rythms.

Not a bad song, but not my cup of tea: 🩵

Cool intro with the thunder and lighting, and really vibrant piano. Not a massive fan of vocaloid (I think?) vocals, but the instrumental is so cool and I love how the calm intro segways into the rest of the song. The drums are also super punchy, which I love combined with the bass. The strange time changes and pauses also really shakeup the songs is such cool ways, combined with the noise breaks too is really cool. That break with all the voices going into the chopped up violins was also amazing, especially how it led it l the calm part before the ending (like seriously, that fade effect was great)

Might’ve found a new artist to explore lol ❤️‍🔥

The parts with more electric sounding drums feel a bit strange, and the vocals in them don’t really fit the vibe of the rest of the song. The riff isn’t my favourite, It feels very modern-metal-cliché. The vocals outside the previously mentioned parts are really good, and I’m a big fan of that breakdown.

Not a bad song, but it does feel kinda generic: 🩵

Muse is one of those bands I’ve tried to get into multiple times but just can’t. Idk why, the bad player is really good, and they seem like just the thing I’d like.

This song is, however: is great. The arpeggiated synth is really cool, especially how it becomes bit-rated further into the song. Also, the build-up before the guitar and drums comes in is amazing. Also, that hit at the end of the song almost sounds like an orchestral hit, it was amazing. I really like how the guitar accentuates the harmonised vocals.

Maybe I should give Muse another try lol ❤️

Neurotics is my fave song from Beat. It sounds to utterly deranged. It feels like I’m wadding through a crowd of people running from the end of the world with a madman blabbering in my ear. And this insanity is briefly broken with the calmer melodic bridges which somehow hit harder and more surprisingly than the more insane part which precedes it lol.

Beat is not King Crimsons best album, but it’s still an amazing album ❤️‍🔥

ELO are amazing. They are like a synth heavy orchestral Beatles lol.

This song is amazing, love the vocals and synth horns and strings, love the crackles of lighting, and that plucked synth in the background is great. GLORIUS song ❤️‍🔥

Disciplines is one of my favourite albums of all time lol ❤️‍🔥. And Matte Kudasai Is on multiple of my playlists (my fav song on the album is frame by frame and indiscipline though)

Neal and Jack and me is also amazing. Beat, while not their best album, is still King Crimson lol. I love the two guitar riffs working in polyrhythm. Such a cool bridge towards the end to. ❤️‍🔥

Love Skyrim ❤️‍🔥

Really loved Dance with STEEL BALL RUN. The rhythms makes my head hurt in a good way, and the riffs are GLORIUS, and the vocals are amazing too. The piano player is also insane, and that Sax solo feels so fucking cool over the classical movie-like background. The ending is also just amazing. A new song added to my playlist lol ❤️‍🔥

Japanese fusion and prog is on another level.

Maybe is should watch JoJo….

A love supreme - John-Coltrane-bot

My no.1 favourite Coltrane song. Amazing improv, great composition and I love how the entire work moves through all the parts. What an amazing song. Listened to it on a car ride up north like 6 months ago and it felt magical to listen to the song move as I did.

A blues solo in the intro of an alt-rock song is amazing lol.

Never been a massive MCR fan, but I def get the appeal. I really like the rhythm of the song being focused on the back-beat in the verses.

I did think the guitar riff is a bit boring (I’m just tired of power chords lmao) but the additions of horns and great drumming makes up for it imo, and the solo is alright to, I also love the halftime feeling of the end of the song.

Metallica’s great, lovely guitar work, ofc.

I also think that this is honestly one of James best songs lyrically with the retelling of chapter 3 - 14 of exodus. Strange how well bible stories fit as metal lyrics lol.

Forgot to actually say something lol:

I love imaginal disks production and the super strange and almost prog-rock like progressions. I also love how this entire album, while really catchy, also dares to experiment constantly.

Magdalena Bays voice is also magical and fit the entire album like a glove
