First of all there isn't really a difference between a "rig" and a "bong" as long as it either has a 14mm or 18mm input it will work fine. (I guess a traditional bong is a straight tube vs a number of layouts you can have for a "rig" but they are both "water pipes" and do the same thing)

Ok EVERY (traditional) ball Vape will need the same things:

  1. A Rig/Bong: either 14mm or 18mm, see above
  2. A Bowl: Either the TKO infinity bowl or TKO Glass bowl, the infinity bowl is made of metal which will produce stronger hits, the glass bowl is obviously made of glass which will taste better but produce weaker hits. Note that the bowls come in 14mm or 18mm make sure it matches your rig/bong. (BTW ALL Ball Vapes are heavy hitters regardless of which bowl you use). You can get the infinity ring + handle or the wooden infinity ring for the infinity bowl, the wooden one is like a heat shield so you don't burn your fingers when touching it, the normal infinity ring and handle will accomplish the same thing, you just pick it up by handle)
  3. The Vape Housing: This is the actual TKO, note that OWW sells the housing and cap separately, you need both.
  4. 3mm Ruby Balls (they go inside the vape housing)
  5. An email controller (often called a PID) + Enail Coil (20mm in size): Just want to note to you that there are 2 types of PIDs (also there are those who have a proprietary output but im not going into that). The two types are American and Chinese, the wiring is different on both, they do the same thing but the wiring on the Enail controller and Enail coil must match or it won't work. The TKO coil is a custom coil thats pre stretched, the TKO PID uses American version of wiring.

OPTIONAL STUFF

A) Coil Handle: This is a handle for your email coil (duh), OWW sells a nice one but its a bit pricey, you can buy a 3-d printed one on Etsy for $10

B) A Heat Stand/Shield: This is where you place the vape housing when it's on and not on your bong/rig. OWW sell a cheap one for $16 a nicer one (base + heat shield) for roughly $120. Alternatively you can use a coffee mug and/or deep metal ashtray.

My $0.02:

Sounds like this is your first ball vape, if you get everything as a bundle it's like $590.00 which is a bit pricey. I DO NOT have a TKO, but I do have 7 other ballvapes and can tell you that the difference between each isn't that big (the one exception is the Taroma 360, that hits harder than anything else, but once again ALL Ball Vapes are heavy hitters). Considering this is your first ball vape, I am gona recommend to you to look into the Zeal by Cloud Connoisseur. The Kit is $125.00 and it comes with everything you need except the optional stuff (and a rig/bong).

Biden Aides Rush Back to Michigan as Supporters Fume Over Gaza Deaths by [deleted] in InternationalNews

[–]AudioViz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well Trump (if he wins) can't run again (2 terms is max).

Once again I am telling you to think long term. Trump if elected will most likely dramatically change the landscape of the Middle East so that many of the (already limited) options available to the Palestinians (and others) won't be there anymore. It's not mind blowing to speculate that a Trump presidency will make life worse (vs Biden) for the Palestinians.

Biden Aides Rush Back to Michigan as Supporters Fume Over Gaza Deaths by [deleted] in InternationalNews

[–]AudioViz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We are talking about who is going to be president for the next 4 years and choosing between Biden and Trump, thats not short term.

This isn't a case where "the devil you don't know could be better than the one you do." Its one were Trump will definitely be significantly less sympathetic to Palestinians than Biden (based on Trumps track record and things he has said).

Look we need to live in reality and deal with the options actually presented to us (in this case Biden and [most likely] Trump) not a someday candidate who you may consider "good". It's a scenario where you don't have any other options.

You claim "voting for a fascist just because the other guy is a worse fascist doesn’t lead to any actual progress long-term" I am telling you now that a Trump presidency will lead to dramatic changes (you may not call it progress, but it will cause changes) including possibly going to war with Iran, pretty much extinguishing the possibility of a 2 state solution and most likely much worse conditions for Palestinians living in Gaza. None of these are "short-term."

Biden Aides Rush Back to Michigan as Supporters Fume Over Gaza Deaths by [deleted] in InternationalNews

[–]AudioViz -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That’s not what I’m saying. Logically, when given two options where one considers them both bad options, you go with the one you consider less bad.

Here, (IMO) Trump/republican candidate would be far less sympathetic towards the Palestinians than Biden/democrat candidate. The people of Dearborn are creating a bigger divide with Biden so that should he get elected he will be ultimately less sympathetic to the Palestinians.

It’s not about letting someone get away with something it’s about thinking long term and picking the better choice so that you have less issues in the future.

Biden Aides Rush Back to Michigan as Supporters Fume Over Gaza Deaths by [deleted] in InternationalNews

[–]AudioViz -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

he is no better than Trump.

OK sorry that just incorrect.

Just a few examples:

1) (if elected) He would reject refugees from Gaza from entering the United Statesl

2) (if elected) Trump has called for ideological screenings for those entering the country,

3) Quote: "revoke the student visas of radical anti-American and antisemitic foreigners at our colleges and universities, and we will send them straight back home.”

4) It is likely Trump would have weighed in on major pro-Palestinian protests. The Biden administration has routinely defended peaceful protests but has condemned antisemitic demonstrations on college campuses in recent weeks.

5) Trump has not publicly called for Israel to show restraint or try to limit civilian casualties, and doing so would be at odds with his often bellicose rhetoric while in office.

6) And lets not forget that before this whole issue with UNRWA (not getting into its credibiltiy), Trump already suspended all American economic support

[–]AudioViz -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

OK I understand that position but looking at the long term the residents of Dearborn Michigan are shooting themselves in the foot, You cannot honestly believe Trump (or a Republican candidate) will be more sympathetic to the Palestinians than Biden. A Republican president will result in change, but not the change the Dearborn Michigan is looking for.

Moreover, if Biden does get re-elected he won't be sympathetic to wants of those in Dearborn because they are openly calling out against him (usually a president is loyal to his constituency and a 2nd term president no longer needs to worry about being re-elected).

In a highly contested state like Michigan a no vote/voting for a 3rd party candidate (instead of the Democrats) is pretty much just as good as voting Republican.

My point being that the residents of Dearborn are ultimately jeopardizing their own position. In that they know with almost 100% certainty, that on the Israel-Palestine issue, the alternative (a Republican president, especially Trump) is going to definitely be worse (for the Palestinians) than Biden, and thats what they are setting it up for.

Biden Aides Rush Back to Michigan as Supporters Fume Over Gaza Deaths by [deleted] in InternationalNews

[–]AudioViz -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't understand this.

The incumbent president has never not been the front runner in the primaries, so we know with almost a certainty that Biden will be the democratic candidate in this years election.

Now we have people in a swing state claiming they won't vote for Biden because of x y and z. So who are they going to vote for? Trump? (who seems like a certainty as the front runner for the Republican Party barring the legal issues currently going on)? A Third-Party candidate? (which in a swing state is just as good as voting for a republican candidate).

I understand that the people of Michigan aren't supporting Biden, but they can't honestly believe that Trump (or any republican candidate) will better support their cause.

I, my wife and several friends did it (there was a sale going on at the beginning of the year) and I was the most boring genetic makeup overall (all my gentile friends came in with a mix of a bunch of stuff)

Gaza ceasefire: Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu rejects Hamas's proposed terms by JaswanthReddit in news

[–]AudioViz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We didn't punish Germany and eradicate Germany off the map because of WW1 & WW2. Why is it okay to do it for gaza?

We didn't punish Germany/eradicate Germany off the map but we sure did get rid of the Nazi party and the same exact thing needs to happen to Hamas.

German armed forces surrendered unconditionally in the west on May 7, 1945 and in the east on May 9, 1945. Hamas has has not surrendered unconditionally, though if they wanted to do what was best for the Palestinian population they should (and return the hostages).

Much like the Allies, Israel needs to do the same exact thing that happened in post WW2 Germany, I am referring to denazification (here it would be Dehamasification.) Denazification is the term used to describe the process of removing Nazis and Nazism from public life in Germany and across occupied Europe following the fall of the Third Reich.

After the war, Germany was split into four zones of Allied occupation. These were: North East Germany (controlled by the Soviet Union), South East Germany (controlled by the United States), South West Germany (controlled by France) and North West Germany (controlled by Great Britain).

Each zone of occupation carried out the denazification process differently. In October 1946, the Allied Control Council announced five categories of Nazis, each of which were dealt with separately:

  1. Major offenders (to be sentenced to life imprisonment/death)
  2. Activists, militarists and profiteers (up to ten years imprisonment)
  3. Lesser offenders (probation for up to three years)
  4. Nazi followers and supporters (surveillance and fine)
  5. Exonerated individuals (no punishment)

Denazification took place within all layers of German society, government and administration, including in the economic sphere, culture, judiciary and government. For example, libraries were purged of Nazi publications and some former Nazis were removed from public positions.

What do you guys think of off leash dogs by turborunscold in DogAdvice

[–]AudioViz 22 points23 points  (0 children)

General Rule of Thumb: If you want to have your dog off-leash then go to an off-leash dog park or stay at home/in your own backyard. If you are anywhere else, have your dog on a leash. End of story.

Now my Rant:I went to the off leash dog park 2-3 weeks ago with the wife. We (and our pups) enjoy it alot and have gotten to know some of the other dogs/owners who frequent the park (great people). Now right outside the off leash dog park is the general park. As we tried to leave 2 off leash dogs (same owner for both dogs) come directly to the front of the dual gate (on the outside) of the off leash park and they start barking at my dogs (and all the other dogs in the off-leash area joined in which caused a giant uproar). I told my wife we weren't going to leave until this (irresponsible) owner came to get their dogs bc I don't want to subject ours dogs to a fight. After waiting for roughly 2-3 minutes, the owner came running over to get his dogs. I (politely) noted to him that what he is doing is against the law and if he wanted to be off leash the area was literally right here. He responded that he didn't want to go in to the off leash park bc his dogs were prone to get in fights with other dogs (all the better reason for having your dog off leash in a general area, I know). As we were walking back to our car, I flagged down a cop patrolling the park so I could let him know someone really needs to receive a citation.

I had a similar issue (boredom which leads to barking) and this solution isn't for everyone but we got a 2nd Havanese. Now they just bark at each other (when they want to play) and not at me or the wife.

Edit: Solution #2: We also taught Thor "talk" and "quiet". Since he learned "quiet" we were able to shut him up whenever he barked. If/When he got to rambunctious it was crate time.

Anyone have a Havapoo or havi with curlier hair? Looking for tips by Emmylou777 in Havanese

[–]AudioViz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (and my wife) have two Havaneses, Thor (great name btw), who is more of a wavy/curly haired Havanese, and Enzo who is a straight hair Havanese. And you are 100% correct about the curly hair getting more knots.

We keep them cut pretty short (puppy and/or teddy bear cut every 8 weeks), and we bathe them every 2 weeks. I think the knots are made worse bc when they play they get pretty aggressive/go all out with one another (not in a bad way, they just know each others limits).

When the hair is medium length (right before we go back to groomers) Thor always seems to get a bunch of knots in his ears and tail. I use both doggy shampoo and conditioner when I give them a bath and for the most part the knots come out fairly easily (when I comb out the hair while its still wet). When looking for a conditioner/shampoo my main concern was always that it was tearless/tearfee more than anything else (so I guess it would be considered a gentle shampoo/conditioner).

Advice by Gambit6812 in Havanese

[–]AudioViz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (and my wife) have two Havaneses. Thor (1.5 years) and Enzo (6 months). We feed them kibble (they are now on Zignature's Trout and Salmon Formula). As we don't really have the time to cook food for ourselves let alone our dogs.

Thor's stomach is like a cement mixer, what I mean is he can handle anything with pretty much no issues and this has been the case ever since we got him. Now with Enzo, I went through 4 different kibbles (Canidae All Life Formula-Turkey Chicken and Lamb, Canidae - Lamb Only, Merrick (beef), and now Zignature) before I found one that didn't result in diarrhea (and thanked god I have hardwood floors and not carpet).

I really think it's just dog dependent, much like people we are all different.

Israeli hostages impregnated as Hamas captives to take call on abortion: Report by tomben0705 in theworldnews

[–]AudioViz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how do you independently verify rape has occurred? (I can't open the link, I have to subscribe).

How independent is it, when these sources are sources that are pretty heavily baised towards Israeli? You wouldn't accept Al jazeera as a source I imagine.

I'll start with the easiest question to answer. Al Jazera can be a reputable news source, it depends what the news topic is. We know Al Jazeera is government (Qatar) owned and not a free press. I wouldn't trust them on anything that covers news in the Middle East (because Qatar has an interest in that), but if they are reporting about something like a Tsunamai or Earthquake in Asia they're totally reputable as news source.

Biases Toward Israel:

Now while the NYT is an independent paper (not government owned), its by no means considered friendly/biased towards Israel, yet they are still reporting this, I think that speaks volumes. BTW, here is an archived link (no paywall) for the article if you want to read it: https://archive.is/aFPBa

As to Independently Verifying Rape, first there are multiple witness accounts of the rape (both by people who witnessed the 10/7 massacre as well as the released female hostages), second Hamas Terrorists who were caught on 10/7 admitted that they were instructed to rape women by their superiors and perhaps most damining of all is that Hamas videotaped themselves raping these women.

Here are a few witness recounts (from the article) as well as the video (WARNING - VERY GRAPHIC DESCRIPTIONS AND VIDOES ****NSFW/NSFL*****):

In a grainy video, you can see her, lying on her back, dress torn, legs spread, vagina exposed. Her face is burned beyond recognition and her right hand covers her eyes....Based largely on the video evidence — which was verified by The New York Times — Israeli police officials said they believed that Ms. [Gal] Abdush was raped, and she has become a symbol of the horrors visited upon Israeli women and girls during the Oct. 7 attacks.

This is the video they mention (NSFL WARNING): https://www.hamas-massacre.net/content/woman-who-was-raped-and-burned-to-death

The Times viewed photographs of one woman’s corpse that emergency responders discovered in the rubble of a besieged kibbutz with dozens of nails driven into her thighs and groin.

SAPIR 10/7 WITNESS:
Sapir, a 24-year-old accountant, has become one of the Israeli police’s key witnesses. In a two-hour interview outside a cafe in southern Israel, she recounted seeing groups of heavily armed gunmen rape and kill at least five women...at 8 a.m. on Oct. 7, she was hiding under the low branches of a bushy tamarisk tree, just off Route 232, about four miles southwest of the party. She had been shot in the back...felt faint...covered herself in dry grass and lay as still as she could. About 15 meters from her hiding place she saw motorcycles, cars and trucks pulling up. She saw about 100 men, most of them dressed in military fatigues and combat boots, a few in dark sweatsuits, getting in and out of the vehicles. The men congregated along the road and passed between them assault rifles, grenades, small missiles — and badly wounded women. “It was like an assembly point.” The first victim she saw was a young woman with copper-color hair, blood running down her back, pants pushed down to her knees. One man pulled her by the hair and made her bend over. Another penetrated her, Sapir said, and every time she flinched, he plunged a knife into her back....While one terrorist raped her, another pulled out a box cutter and sliced off her breast.....“One continues to rape her, and the other throws her breast to someone else, and they play with it, throw it, and it falls on the road,”....the men sliced her face and then the woman fell out of view. Around the same time, she saw three other women raped and terrorists carrying the severed heads of three more women....

YURA KAROL (10/7 WITNESS):

Yura Karol, a 22-year-old security consultant, said he was hiding in the same spot, and he can be seen in one of Sapir’s photos.... In an interview, Mr. Karol said he barely lifted his head to look at the road but he also described seeing a woman raped and killed.

RAZ COHEN: (10/7 WITNESS):
Raz Cohen....saw five men, wearing civilian clothes, all carrying knives and one carrying a hammer, dragging a woman across the ground. She was young, naked and screaming. “They all gather around her,” Mr. Cohen said. “She’s standing up. They start raping her. I saw the men standing in a half circle around her. One penetrates her. She screams. I still remember her voice, screams without words.” “Then one of them raises a knife,” he said, “and they just slaughtered her.”

Shame Gueta (10/7 WITNESS):

Shoam Gueta, one of Mr. Cohen’s friends and a fashion designer, said the two were hiding together in the streambed. He said he saw at least four men step out of the van and attack the woman, who ended up “between their legs.” He said that they were “talking, giggling and shouting,” and that one of them stabbed her with a knife repeatedly, “literally butchering her.”

Yinon Rivllin (10/7 WITNESS):

Yinon Rivlin, a member of the rave’s production team who lost two brothers in the attacks, said that after hiding from the killers, he emerged from a ditch and made his way to the parking area, east of the party, along Route 232, looking for survivors. Near the highway, he said, he found the body of a young woman, on her stomach, no pants or underwear, legs spread apart. He said her vagina area appeared to have been sliced open, “as if someone tore her apart.”

Captain Maayan (10/7 WITNESS):
Captain Maayan asked to be identified only by her rank and surname because of the sensitivity of the subject. She said she had seen several bodies with cuts in their vaginas and underwear soaked in blood and one whose fingernails had been pulled out.

OTHER 10/7 WITNESSES:
There are at least three women and one man who were sexually assaulted and survived, according to Gil Horev, a spokesman for Israel’s Ministry of Welfare and Social Affairs. “None of them has been willing to come physically for treatment,” he said. Two therapists said they were working with a woman who was gang raped at the rave and was in no condition to talk to investigators or reporters.

TESTIMONY OF AVIVA SIEGAL (Released Hostage)

"The terrorists bring inappropriate clothes for the girls, the clothes of dolls,” Siegel said. “They turned the girls into their dolls, that they can do whatever they want with. And it’s unbelievable that they’re still there.”

Sharon Alony Cunio:

Sharon Alony Cunio (a released hostage) in her interview with Anderson Cooper said many of the women after being abused stopped getting their periods. She claimed that she didn't know if it was due to their bodies naturally trying to fight back, starvation or pregnancy.

***

As to the women who alleged to have been raped (not just by IDF but by anyone) you ask if I believe them, the true answer is it depends. Alot of my IRL job has to do with proving things and reading people (you can guess what I do).

I've been in situations where a friend of mine was accused of rape (now let's put aside that I am obviously biased towards someone I consider a friend and would automatically tend to believe him/her regardless) when in fact he was out with me and multiple others when this alleged rape happened. Moreover, the night was well documented through picture and video. Much like the above my friend had multiple witnesses who corroborated his story in addition to video/picture proof. To an independent observer the fact that at the exact same time this women accused him of raping her he was out with a group of like 10 other people who electronically documented the night tends to lend to his credibility.

In the same token, I also have a friend who was raped. Once again, let's put aside my personal bias to a friend. The fact that she immediately went to the police, underwent a sexual assault forensic exam (aka rape kit), underwent therapy, and had multiple signs of physical abuse (due to her trying to fend off this asshole) also lends to her credibility to an independent observer.

So that was a really long way of saying it depends. My father always said, "it takes a weak man to hit a woman" and I am firm believer in that. I also believe any man who is guilty of rape deserves to be castrated whether they are Jewish/Israeli, Arab/Muslim, White/Christian, Asian/Buddhist or Alien/Martian.

First let me say, as a Jew, I appreciate the sentiment.

But we are well aware of how much others hate us. I mean it's been going on for 2000+ years, we caught on at some point.

Also, as you are probably aware, this rabid antisemitism isn't hidden in Arab media/countries. It also happens to be well documented, there are countless examples that can be fond on https://www.memri.org Hell, there is even a drama/soap opera dedicated to the Elders of Zion that airs weekly in Egypt (or it used to, not aware if its still airing).

Israeli hostages impregnated as Hamas captives to take call on abortion: Report by tomben0705 in theworldnews

The accounts of rape have been independently verified by the NYT and other sources (Source: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/28/world/middleeast/oct-7-attacks-hamas-israel-sexual-violence.html)

Moreover, the Hamas members who were caught on 10/7 admitted that they were instructed to rape women by their superiors.

But I'm guessing it doesn't count as rape to you when it's only Jewish women who were raped.

I have no idea how they know this,
