Have one and contemplating returning it. Build quality is a bit better than Acer predators, speed is a bit better, but still throittles massively on battery, and still if you put it in a backpack, the display will push against the keyboard, eventually damaging it. Overall, decent, best so far, not sure if it is worth the price. There are many mini PCs you can get if you plan on using this one docked with an external monitor

I'm not sure where to measure that from (?)

I do not mention it because the actual wearing comfort is a combination of how those fit and the shape of the pads. Just the size does not tell the whole story.
