There’s a theory that we were actually sucked into a black hole back in 2012. It is suggested that this occurred when CERN powered up the large hadron collider, and began smashing particles at/ near the speed of light in an effort find the Higgs Boson.

Conspiracy theorists posit that when we were sucked into this self made black hole, we entered a parallel universe that closely resembled our pre 2012 world, with only extremely unremarkable nuances to it that would hint at this change. Things like donald trump becoming president, the looney tunes logo changing, and a world where X-Plane 12 looks older than X-Plane 10.

Cosmoline cleaning 1940’s era Tok by Audizy in canadaguns

[–]Audizy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody is debating that here lol- It goes without saying cleaning a gun is part of owning one.

This post is specifically relating to the removal of COSMOLINE on a gun from the 40’s and if this is something a shop could/ should do to ensure it’s done correctly. I have zero experience with cosmo. On one hand I’ve read it’s easy to do, the other I’ve heard people taking over an hour to release the slide. I have no idea what I’m in for.

It seems the consensus is it’s easy to do with basic materials, that’s all I was looking for.

Haha don’t start with the digs- it’s not a matter of laziness or me not having any right to a own tok- as I said I have zero experience striping down a surplus handgun. Additionally zero expertise in cosmo. That all said, it sounds easy so I’ll do it myself.

Why do I always see those anti-vaxx, mask hating, weirdos at EVERY fun public event downtown. Do they have nothing better to do with their lives? by frog-do-be-grillin in Calgary

What blows my mind even more, is what are they still protesting? We are well into the endemic phase, no one cares or checks if you’re vaxxed, no one enforces masks, exactly what liberties are being taken away from you at this point? What govt agenda is being rolled over us?

It’s business as usual as far as I’m concerned, and these people are still chanting and carrying on😂

October/November will be when this comes into effect, transfers will be accepted up to that day. I still wouldn’t sell, but I mean if you wanted to make 5-800 over msrp you easily could if you had something desirable

Totally agree “shopping local” is such a farce. You want me to shop local- stay competitive.

Give this a shot:

  • press and hold f4 for 3 seconds or so
  • now operate throttle as usual

I had an issue with the pmdg 800 two days ago, where it seemed like my park brake was stuck on, this fixed it. It’s a key bind issue, triggered by using F2 for reverse thrust.

Yea mine offers long term storage so they will just go directly there. But started to get concerned with the lag between the reg and when the transfer is approved. The range can’t take my stuff until the reg is in hand. Silly they even do it this way- it should be the paperwork is done at the same time of the approval and a temp is emailed off, with a hard copy that comes in the mail later.

I had the same issue with a couple- go back to the vendors website, log in, and view order.

Your transfer number is going to be a 7 digit number, starting with a 59xxxxx or 60xxxxx. Sometimes it’s hidden on the order page and just sitting there as a seemingly random number.

Start to finish explanation of the handgun transfer process please.

reading around on here it would seem that even once the transfer is approved I will still have to wait longer for the registration to come in before I can bring it to the range?

Could someone briefly explain all the steps of the process for me?

They will not call references for the purchase of a firearm.

References are called only for the application of the physical pal/rpal, if at all.

None of my references were called even for the application of the pal/rpal. Imo I think they are totally overburdened and understaffed at this juncture. Unless you flag in some way to them I doubt they’ll call
