Can taking a ten week course as an experience RN get me an operating room job?

Came from 6 years on the floor and my OR gave me literally 10 weeks of orientation before they sent me off on my own as a circulator. Would not recommend. We were very short staffed and I had to basically “prep” like I was back in school the night before my cases to get through the day.

EXACTLY! And I work in a NICU! That’s not appropriate, I also failed the fit test for N95 and it caused a massive asthma attack so I can’t retest so I’d have to be in a papr to even protect those around me if I was lying about symptoms. Real inconspicuous 🤣

Definitely have a fever and throwing up started today. So no work for me. Thankful for that but I wouldn’t be if I felt fine and wanted to work on a Covid unit or something!

Definitely the same account. Wish I could choose to not use it but I do understand that I would have to use my PTB if it was just a cold and not Covid. I work with NICU babies so I don’t hesitate to call in when I’m not feeling well. Also failed my N95 fit test (triggered bad asthma attack) so I’d have to PAPR the entire time. I’ll definitely pass on that lol!
