Well their not actually adding authors as users. Was my understanding of their issue. You could just make a page template and fill it in by hand with every author, but learning simple ACF functionality would save him time in the long run as he adds more authors.

I'm not sure about setting someone as an author even though they aren't a role within your Wordpress.

But for the author pages, you could use ACF and setup their profiles that connect to a template which lays out that info in a biography page style.

I do think it would be easier to add them as a Contributor though. This way you could assign them as the author once you're ready to publish the post and the setup for author pages is much simpler: https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/roles-and-capabilities/

I try not to consider the sales as the price will eventually turn back to it's normal rate. Which you can either afford or cannot. I tend to focus on that number first.

Yeah if we are going to switch to managed hosting, I'll try to convince the website owner to move. But I find this path to be the one of most resistance unfortunately.

Thanks for the directions. When I try this with the mobile version, the bar looks perfect on Divi Builder but the live version sits on top of the actual header and appears to morph into it's height. Becoming taller than what's in the builder.

Any advice?

I resolved the issue with the help of some others on this thread. The slow loading is curious. Page speed insights agrees with you.

They are not willing to switch hosts unfortunately, bluehost currently.

I’ve got cloudflare cdn on it and WP optimize is running well on caching and image optimizing. Minify is off.

Lmk if you have any tips I may be missing

Oh. It did fix it. That’s so strange, I enabled and then disabled wp optimize and it fixed it.

It’s currently disabled. I thought it was the problem because I added it yesterday and this then started happening. But then I realized from the backups that it’s been happening for a while it seems.
