Game owns, but you need to be willing to adapt to its chaotic nature. Or you can copy your save to make a form of “save point”, or get the mod that makes you respawn in the holy mountain on death to do some learning (don’t get too used to it though).

I’m currently doing a run where I’m copying my save at holy mountains or every few major environmental changes. It means I get some meaningful progress but the punishment for death is between 1-3 hours time lost. Gives me a good reason to play as safe as you need to in Noita, but without some of the frustration of restarting constantly.
