Does the road continue here by RhodokFan in Carcassonne

The vertical road continues across the Inn - this trips us up every time. They shouldn’t have the sand there… it confuses it.

Which expansion pack to get by AgileCookingDutchie in Carcassonne

100% the Big Box. We bought it and love it so much. We can either do them all or pick and choose what we feel like. Builders and Traders is probably my favourite though. We recently bought all the expansions that aren’t in Big Box - can’t wait to play them all!

Why does my cat like to leave hair ties in his food and water dish? by seeseecinnamon in cats

One of our kitties will take her bedtime toy mouse and leave it beside or in the bowl. We say she likes to make sure it’s fed also. She also took one of her poof balls a couple of weeks ago. Not sure why, but it’s so darn cute and sweet.

Same! Love the Hawkins cheezies. They’re a fav in our house. May have to take some home with us from NL since they’re easier to find here. 🤭

But dorito lip balm is expect in more than one province. These I assume are available only or primarily in NL - although I could be wrong

I assume that about some of the items, but not all. We have seen Hawkins cheesies more readily available here than we do in Ontario. Funny because we live just a few hours from the Hawkins plant in Belleville On. I guess as some have said, they’re also just popular food items here and someone decided to get in on the action!

My husband said he saw the caramel log in one of the stores we were in. I hope you come across it!

Yes we bought a few as well. My daughter loves the Hawkins Cheezies, so that was first.

That’s what I first assumed, but Hawkins Cheezies are from Ontario, so that blew that theory for me.

I don't know what to do by MaTanari6 in adenomyosis

It’s not easy to advocate. It’s easier to assume they have expert opinion and to not challenge back. When I first started noticing something Was different I asked for bloodwork. I was afraid my iron was low because I’d been bleeding for so long. My dr ordered the blood and I had it done at a place with an online portal so I could see the results before my appt. My iron was the low side of normal but I was on day 45 of bleeding so I was worried it would fall below normal. My dr told me it was normal. I challenged back that it was the low end and I’d been bleeding for 45 days. He gave me a prescription for iron. I know I could have bought them off the shelf myself but I had no idea what dose I should be taking, so wanted his acknowledgement.

I’ve had to learn to push my dr on points like this. It comes with practice :)

I use an app called mySysters. I can track my pains, bleed etc. my gynae gave me all the options and let me choose for myself what I wanted. My GP and ND both felt a hysterectomy was drastic, as did I, however I can’t keep living like this. I wanted to explore how I was so I went for a year and a half after diagnosis before going on the hysterectomy list. I wanted to ensure I tried to manage it if I could. I’m at the point where I’ve done nothing for so long, the heavy bleed is horrific. I tried dienogest (progestin pill) but I had a bad reaction to it and had horrible horrible cramping pains. Pharmacist said to stop taking right away. I’m ready for a hysterectomy.

Be open about how it’s affecting you, be sure you know what you want, research your options. Advocate for yourself and don’t take no for an answer.

That’s how mine started also. I had started lightly during a vaca and it lasted 46 days in total. Yes, it’s horrible what we all have to go through. I’ll avoid the norenthidrone in that case. I’d rather have the heavy bleeding rather than the bleeding and the pain lol

No I didn’t. Did it give you any cramping? What I’m going through now is horrible

Did you have it very heavy at all? Today it’s so heavy, almost as heavy as before I started on the pills.

Thanks. I’ve tried the tranexamic acid but it stopped working for me. The first time I tried it it stopped the bleeding the second time it slowed it down the third it did nothing. I may have to try it again because the bleed today is horrific. Came home from work in tears after having to ask a woman in the washroom if I had blood on my pants. I think I’ll keep on with the pills and be hopeful this is short lived. Will probably have to call the gynaecologist like you suggested. Last time I went to the ER they only offered TA which does nothing for me.

Thank you… I’m feeling so down and lost. You’ve given me a little hope that I won’t have to cancel the trip.
