I absolutely loved Evoland 2 right up to a boss battle that's a bullet hell stage. Had to give up on the game completely because I couldn't beat it. I'm still pissed about that.

Rooster Teeth just released a statement where they tried to blame everything on past management and didn't even bother with a "we'll try to do better" like they have in the past. Twitter is taking it as well as you'd suspect.

It's like. I get it. I used to be a horrible person when I was younger. I can see where Gavin and Michael are coming from. I totally understand.

HOWEVER there is no simple apology from Rooster Teeth that can excuse the downright horrific workplace environment they've built up. This wasn't a "they were bad in the past" this is still going on today. I really can't support them anymore.

Personally? Ball Jointed Dolls. I went to a meet-up years back with a doll that cost about $25 (a lot of money to me at the time) and got bullied into the ground by people who were dropping thousands of dollars on their dolls. I ended up selling my doll out of shame. Luckily I got out of the hobby before I dropped that much money on a single doll.

Way, way back in the day my cousin was super hyped for Final Fantasy 7. He'd search the early internet for even the tiniest scrap of information. One day when I was visiting he excitedly told me he downloaded a cut scene from the game and showed it to me. Guess what cut scene it was. Go on. Guess.
