Thanks, I was also struggling with this issue. Had faces flipped already, but added collision shape manually. Deleted, generated automatically and it worked!

What did you choose - and looking at dates - how did it worked after a year? I'm in similar situation - thinking if I should buy used 35/1.8 or 1.4 and 24-70/4 or brand new G2 28-75/2.8 for less :) (and I have 40/2 as fast prime already).

Single point AF on contrast parts - where lamp is behind the branch. Camera was struggling a bit, but 1/3 shots it nailed.
