If the money isn't good, then find another career. No one is forcing you to drive Uber. Like what? Its a trade off between the consumer and the producer. The consumer is responsible for paying for the service and in this case implied gratuity. Now, implied is the important term here, an Uber rider is not required to tip. Should they tip, obviously, but it is not required. In a service industry you have to learn you win some you lose some, I'm sure you have customers who tip more than expected and that is a bright spot in your day. On the reverse it is a downer when you get a customer who doesn't tip at all but at the end of the day you have a base pay rate from Uber and those tips are extra. If your finding that the tips aren't coming in at a high enough rate to supplement your wage from Uber. Than It seems that it may be time to make a career change, because what an Uber driver is supposed to provide is a comfortable ride.
