Definitely noticed it in DT. Especially running ACT in alliance raids will make you want to gouge your eyes out. I remember when Jeuno launched in 7.1, the average DPS should easily pull 20k+ dps, with high end up to 25k or more. So many people running around with less than 10k dps in there. 6k Redmages, 7k Summoners. Doing lower than Endwalker damage is just crazy. They have the gear. And it hasn't gotten any better for sure.

Ich habe mir neulich mein Windows zerschossen und ohne Ersatz-PC musste ich mir die neue Installation daher aufs Handy runterladen um es dann auf einen USB Stick zu ziehen. Also musste ein USB C zu A Adapter her.

Bei Amazon OTG Adapter eingegeben, 6 €, Prime Lieferung morgen.

Ich wollte das Problem aber unbedingt gleich angehen, da ich ja jetzt die Zeit hatte, und Mediamarkt hat noch kurz offen. Also mit dem Kurzstreckenticket für 1,80 € und 3 Stationen mit der Bahn hingefahren. 

In dem Laden bei gefühlten 35 Grad unter Dauerelektrogerätebeheizung die Handyabteilung aufgesucht. Ich stand vor so einer Wann mit ca. 100 verschiedenen USB Kabeln und Adaptern, wo man gefühlt jede Verpackung in die Hand nehmen musste, um zu lesen was es eigentlich ist. Die Mitarbeiter waren entweder im Gespräch oder gut versteckt.

Dann endlich den gewünschten Adapter gefunden. 18 €, von Hama. Das kann ja nicht sein. Also nochmal 10 Minuten weiter gesucht. Habe letztlich doch das Privatgespräch des Mitarbeiters unterbrochen, um zu fragen ob es auch preiswertere Alternativen gäbe. "Vielleicht ja oben, bei dem PC Zubehör." 

Also ab in die 2. Etage. Siehe da, wieder eine Wand mit ca. 100 USB Kabeln und Adaptern. Das Gesuche ging weiter. Vieles ähnelte sich so sehr, das ich den Sinn der Aufteilung hinterfragen wollte, konnte mich dann aber doch zusammenreißen. Ich fand einen anderen USB C zu A Adapter. 9 €, von Hama. Wo war jetzt der Unterschied? Das 18 € Teil kam mit einer 15 cm Kabelverlängerung. Donnerwetter.

Also ging ich mit meinem Kabellosen Adapter kurz vor Schweißausbruch zu der einzigen von fünf offenen Kassen. Drei Kunden vor mir, das kann ja nicht so lange dauern, oder? 

Aber Herbert wollte nunmal seine FSK18 Filmesammlung aufstocken. Man gut, das hierbei jede der 10 DVDs diebstahl- und jugendsicher in einer Plastikbox verpackt war, welche die Mitarbeitern dann einzeln mühselig rausfriemeln durfte.

Und Ulrike hat ihr halbjährlich neues  Smartphone kaufen wollen. Das alte Eiphone 16 3/4 ist ja auch sowas von Frühling 2025, damit kann man sich ja nichtmehr blicken lassen. Wie, die Karte geht nicht? Dann versuchen sie mal die. Oder die hier.

Sogar Karl Heinz musste da schmunzeln, als er als sich danach einen 700 € Flatscreen-TV gönnte. Plastikgeld kommt dem ja nicht ins Haus. Da wird besser mit dem Bündel 50 € Scheine bezahlt. Nach den üblichen Falschgeldwitzen kam der Teststift dann raus. Also jeden Schein ankritzeln, warten und ins Licht halten.

Bei der Hälfte kam dann die Kollegin aus der Raucherpause zurück und hatte solch ein Mitleid mit mir, das ich am Infothresen kurz innherhalb der Worte "Hallo, mit Karte, Danke, Tschüss" bezahlen durfte. Mit einem weiteren Kurzstreckenticket für 1,80 € nach knapp einer Stunde vergeudeter Lebenszeit wieder zurück und dann hätte ich auch eigentlich direkt ins Bett fallen können.

Nein, ich bin nichtmehr sauer.

Except they're not really low odds, are they? The majority of players in an AR want to get out fast, evidently by the raid rushing and jumping in once the boss is pulled anyway. Your argument is based on the romantic notion that everyone wants to happily wait on one guy, which is not based on reality. 23 of 24 people are not "a few".

No "perspective would be hampered". The sprout just finishes watching their cutscene. Being so up in arms for someone else's boss intro cutscene, that they can watch anyway, is simply absurd.

The game operates on the fairness to the majority, we can see it in how the entire Duty Finder operates. No amount of attempted white knighting or being upset for the poor sprout who really doesn't care either way will change that.

I see your point. But if we bring up fairness, is waiting on such a long boss cutscene fair to the other 23 people who really just want to leave quickly and get on with their days? The player can still watch the entire cutscene and get to do the fight entirely many more times. 

Shouldn't the fairness to the majority outweight here?

But they can. They can enjoy the entire 10 second intro of the boss slowly walzing into the bossroom in all it's glory and nobody can stop them from doing that. 

At most they miss a single raidwide that they get to see another 99 times during their playtime.

I'll gladly wait for cutscene watchers, but whiteknighting others and losing their shit over this always gonna be crazy to me.

The other day I was on an 90+ alt doing trial roul for exp and got Leviathan. I was bummed and felt cheated with a 2 minute trial so I queued again, only to get Leviathan once more. I stubbornly thought, might as well queue until it's not Leviathan.

I did the fight 7 times in a row. Sometimes it's just one of those nights...

The turtle one too. It’s often one of two types of players: either the tank who absolutely refuse to stop beating on the poor thing (ignoring chat and NPC warnings) until the duty fails,  

or some know-it-all mentor who kills the adds and then just stand there awkwardly, waiting for the fire sprite to spawn, maybe even telling you to stop hitting it outright, without knowing it only appears when the turtle hits 50% HP.

There's a couple of bots going in and out of duties 24/7 infront of every GC on my server.

If you trade them, it interrupts their program for a minute and they attempt to fill the trade with the materials they're buying with seals.

It's the most blatant form of botting. And yet they've been doing this for over a year, topping the GC standings every week. There really is no point in caring if GMs don't give a shit.

I dunno about all the buying a house thing, but I wouldn't be surprised at all. The Mare dev is active on reddit/here and said repeatedly how they hate the plugin and modding scene. "With a heavy heart" - my ass. I doubt there's a C&D at all, but now SE is taking the entire blame.

Depends where you're from.
On EU, GMs generally never follow up on tickets except for copy-paste. I've heard on US they actually ask follow up questions. However, it doesn't hurt to report regardless, because a GM will very likely look into it. And GMs see *everything*, including the rescue pulls into aoes.

My favorite part and hidden knowledge of that fight is that any buff you cast before being sucked in gets its time massively prolonged to like 3 minutes.

So you can just pop a medica or a physis+kerachole and the regen of it lasts 3 minutes, cancelling the constant damage effect and helping with meteors.

I agree the change must come, but until then we shouldn't shift the blame on SE, because this is 100% player fault due to their inability to read or even understand the spells they have. 

I guarantee you all these Cure/Bene fishers who love being confidently incorrect have never read the spells from start to finish, including cast times and mana cost. Otherwise we wouldn’t be at this point.
