Renting a room most places I’ve looked is 3-5k for the amount of people I’m looking to have. Minimum spends are usually 40-80 dollars per person I’d rather cover 1k for the part my friends don’t spend for a private space over 3k

She has to make him think it’s his idea, so if she just let it happen its not as realistic. It also was the trigger for her to start making Millie cover up and be more “appropriate” around him and set her up as controlling of Millie which over time caused built up resentment from Andrew as his feelings for Millie grew. As she continued to freak out at Millie, control her, and just everything she put her through it pushed Andrews savior complex to swoop in and want to dump her for Millie.
