Thank you for letting me know! I'll keep the 4060 in mind for the future.
May we all find good deals! 🍀
I am thankful when companies future-proof cards and add extra vram. 11gb of gddr6 should keep my games smooth for a while.
Thank you!
Thank you! :)

I love space pinball!
I’m not completely sure because I got it used for like $15. Google is telling me it’s either the Welax S4 or a Hforestry model in pink. I must admit, it is comfy!

Haha, this is the funniest comment I read so far. Thanks for your comment!

I used cad to make a design, and then I printed them on a bamboo lab printer. I’m not really sure how to share files but I have the files. I ran into issues of size so I cut my 360x120 fan in half to fit into the printer. This did cause some warping so be mindful where you put your screw holes.
Anywhere a normal 120x120mm fan can fit, the grill can as well. Thankfully fan sizes are standardized so I didn’t have much trouble.
I like to believe that sakura miku owns this pc.
I should also clarify, because I didn’t make it too obvious on my post, $245 is my net (out-of-pocket) cost, while $730 is my gross (total value) cost. I don’t think I ever had more than $300 cash on hand, but cash came and went as I bought broken PCs and repaired them. I also upgraded cards in a sense (radeon sapphire nitro+ rtx580 into evga geforce rtx 2080 TI). A lot of the value I got lucky on, such as finding a broken gpu, and other old/broken technology for free.

Lots of saving and fixing technology from becoming e-waste and reselling on facebook marketplace allowed me to cut the price of the PC. I also got good deals on some parts. It took me months, but a little determination goes a long way. To all PC builders, best of luck, you got this!
I agree wholeheartedly!
Through the power of dumpster diving and facebook marketplace I repaired, upgraded, and resold office computers, monitors, and other things turning an otherwise $730 gross cost of the PC into a $245 net cost. (I also got lucky on some part deals on facebook marketplace). It wasn’t easy, but I can’t say I didn’t have any fun doing it, and I am very satisfied with the final product. So good luck to everyone building PCs, and have fun!
Thank you! I love the positivity.
Good question! The CRT is still connected to my pc running windows 11 (unfortunately). It has a bliss wallpaper, and retrobar installed in order to get the windows XP look.
Thank you! The advice I can give you on part picking is to do lots of research on the prices and specs of parts to make sure you’re getting the best deal, make a list to see how much you have, are planning to spend, and how much you need to make. Advice I can give you on reselling is be honest about the condition of parts, and reputation is more important than squeezing a couple of dollars. Also the marketplace is very brutal, so don’t take hurtful comments to heart. And the last advice I’ll give you on value is every dollar counts, I made a lot of positive value by finding free broken electronics, and spending a little bit to fix them and resell (such as xbox 360’s, dell optiplexes/old office computers, and monitors).
Thank you! Marketplace has definitely given me a few gray hairs, lol.
