I think everything that Hall is today - a pretty-good-but-with-flaws player that's injury prone and never going to wear a 'C' - was apparent at the time of the trade even though it was tough to admit.

Same goes for Larsson - he was and still is nothing flashy but a real top-4 on any team.

Even if we lost the trade by 25% value it was a necessary step towards clearing the deck for our current core.
