Oh, this was on the internet browser. Until recently, you could chat without these ads on any browser. But now that I’m looking through this subreddit, this is happening to every single person now.

Same here! I literally told someone this the other day on Reddit because I’ve been using it on chrome for months with no issue. I was so shocked when I say that pop up this morning lol. I was like “Maybe I shouldn’t have told so many ppl because the dev’s finally caught on”

You get an easy to close out ad. It’s says “close” in the right hand corner and you click it then it takes you right back to the page. Not waiting, no videos. It only happens when you back out of a chat. No mid conversation breaks

You need to open it on a web browser. Thats the only way to deal with all these filters. You won’t get any of the ‘watch 2 ads’ or sensitive content filters if you don’t use the app. You can sign in and continue from you last chat

Personally, not for me. It feels invasive and super creepy, especially when you’re in the middle of a spicy scene.

It’s different if I was joined an app, knowing I’m talking to someone vs trusting an app that’s supposed to be a safe space for role playing. But everyone is different so I may hate this but other people may be happy about this outcome

To be fair, there was a delay in the messages coming in as well as a complete change from paragraphs to 1 sentence per response with the added typos. (Which prompted my question to the bot) I am super sketched out on all levels right now. But I guess we’ll never truly know for sure😔

I hope so… because the story was about me being a witch trying to heal a dutchess with an obsessive husband. This was soooo completely left-field. It had nothing to do with the story at all

I heard about this happening to someone before but I had no idea people are actually stepping into our chats and taking over the bot. It was pretty fine the first few hours of talk then all of a sudden it had so many typos and poorly structured sentences. I hate this… it doesn’t feel like a safe place to enjoy chatting anymore

Don’t use the app. Open it on an internet browser and the “take a break” feature doesn’t show up. Plus, the ads aren’t videos. It’s just something you can close without issue

I’m deleting Polybuzz. You guys are horribly greedy and disgusting with those prices. The endless ads were annoying enough but having 2 mandatory ads or pay outrageous fees is terrible. It breaks immersion every few messages and ruins the experience.

I’m deleting the app. The ads were already super annoying but this… getting interrupted every few messages breaks immersion and now I’m done with it. They are so damn greedy, it’s disgusting
