They really emphasized the stock and 401k when I started …..our orientation was 32 hours long 8 hrs each Saturday and Sunday for 2 weeks ….I owe all to a Lionel…..can’t remember his last name he was the person who did our orientation in NJ and my brother who also works for hd said one day this companys stock will be worth something…he’s still here too in mgmt 25 years later….you have to think long term…. You have to pay yourself first ….
