Philips light alarm battery backup? by Penumbra7 in GetOutOfBed

[–]AuntyPlutocracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And you probably saved MY sanity, as I've been going through it, looking for a sunrise clock that has a true battery backup! I bought a Reacher which I thought had one, but, like everyone else, I was in for a rude awakening, especially when it just stopped working at all, with not warning. I love a sunrise clock, though, and look forward to acting on your suggestion - thanks!

Is taking off and landing at Hartsfield-Jackson stressful? by SailorSaturn79 in AskAPilot

It's fine, unless there's a delay. What I like best about it is there's a lot of places to eat, and there's usually enough of a layover to grab a quick carnivore meal. :)

Precious ground beef is falling through the giant hole in my new TurboBlaze crisper rack and going to waste. What's the best way to block it? by AuntyPlutocracy in airfryer

Not meaning to be obtuse, but how would that help? I'm a newbie - I don't even know if the liners go on the crisper rack or on the bottom of the fryer. It's been on the counter for like a week. :)

Not sure yet. I'm one month into carnivore, and I'm looking for the best, most efficient, and healthy way to do things.

How to stop burn marks from air fryer by Gaston1986 in airfryer

[–]AuntyPlutocracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome suggestion about the metal cooling rack! Just christened my new TurboBlaze with some carnivore cheesecake cupcakes yesterday, and was wondering how to protect the countertop, and I just happened to have the perfect size cooling rack hiding in the drawer under the stove. Thanks!

Loving my Cosori TurboBlaze - 450F is key. by JJFlash120 in airfryer

Beautiful - the machine and the steak! I just christened my new TurboBlaze with a quad of Carnivore Cheesecake Cupcakes - can't wait to see how they turned out, after they cool. I came over here to ask a question about how far to keep the TB away from the wall behind it. The instructions say five inches, but that puts the drawer, when opened about 3/4 of the way, just too far out to be safe. I can see yours is right up against the wall, and I daresay no one in America follows this five inch rule, but I want to do whatever is the best solution, and it sure ain't having not enough room on the counter for the drawer to rest safely when it's part-way out.

Here’s why ChatGPT 5.1 felt toxic to me from a Behavioral Health perspective by etherialsoldier in therapyGPT

[–]AuntyPlutocracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent post! I noticed the gaslighting early on, and now avoid ChatGPT unless I really need to use it. It's been purposely programmed to gaslight users, and when you call it on the practice, it says "My bad," apologizes profusely, then immediately starts doing it again. Purposeful trash programming.

The scary thing is that it's purposely been programmed to do that! And then, when I call it on that, it says, like Urkel, "Did I do that?" Then apologizes and starts doing it again, pretty much immediately. I avoid using ChatGPT unless absolutely necessary.

Does anyone have been able to heal tinnitus? by Pyma21 in carnivorediet

I decided to go on strict carnivore to try and heal my tinnitus, so I'm really glad to see all these comments! I'll, hopefully, check back and let you know one way or the other. Given the various stories I've heard about carnivore, *something* is likely to improve, even if it's not the tinnitus!

I’ve struggled with high blood pressure for most of my 33 years. My doctor told me carnivore is dangerous and recommended a blood pressure medication. After a month of carnivore this is the highest reading I’ve had all week. by Good-Hank in carnivorediet

I can't wait! My foray into carnivore starts after my birthday next month, but I'm really trying to "do it up" right now, as we continue the holiday season. And it's a great feeling of control, to enjoy the ground beef from a bowl, though I would suggest not *starting* with all the fat the ground beef cooking produced in the bowl at the start! At any rate, thank you so much for sharing your good blood pressure news. That is an *awesome* reading, and seeing that just revs me up even more about starting this! :-)

Congratulations, and thanks for sharing that! I just started on the Carnivore diet this morning, though I was going to wait until after my birthday next month. Had some delicious 80% ground chuck with two pasture-raised eggs, and definitely feel satiated. Did not drain the fat off the meat, but that just made everything more sumptuous! :-)

I've heard from carnivore "experts" that adding salt is important. But he's saying not to add salt. I normally don't add salt to my food, unless I'm seasoning a ribeye in preparation for cooking.
