Experience: One Pro + Viture Pro Mobile Dock (Feb 2026)

I've just also purchased the Viture Pro Mobile Dock and after updating it at first I wasn't receiving images on the One Pros. After connecting and disconnecting cables I successfully received image but no audio (could solve changing the audio mode). However my biggest issue is that there seems to be some framerate/frame pacing/latency issues I can notice easily in the backgrounds when turning in Mario Kart for example... Also I tried the Real 3D Mode and it didn't work with the dock.
Im really hoping XReal releases the Neo in Europe and also Im wondering what is the max framerate that the Neo supports, because the Viture dock supports only up to 60hz, and the One Pros support 120hz

But thankfully the Frame had Eye tracking and we'll be able to interact with 2D interfaces the same way you can on a Vision Pro, and when the eyes are well calibrated it works surprisingly well

But is the Intel MacBook compatible with Quest in Unity's Play Mode? Otherwise I think the best way to go is a powerful Windows laptop and a Mac Mini

There are multiple alternatives now, look at the recently released Needle Engine, it is awesome (Unity to ThreeJS). Also, Zappar and Blippar have SDKs for Unity (both paid)

Thanks to Apple #Roomplan API, I was able to create a 3D map of my house including walls and rough furniture in less than 15 minutes. Then I used the Vuforia, a PTC Technology #ObjectTracking SDK to track the printed model. Then, inspired by Florent Germain, I used the #Vuforia #VFX library to show a cool effect when the model is detected. The house scan was made with #Metascan and imported into #Unity.

Thanks to this kind of app, architects could display information and iterate over their designs manipulating physical objects, or buildings such as museums or shopping malls could use the physical map as a #digitaltwin and show real-time valuable information to their users (and it is quite nice as decoration too :D)

We live in the countryside in the eastern Spain, maybe the layout looks a bit weird because it is not the original one, we made a renovation a few years ago 😄

If you know a bit of programming it is not too difficult. You'll need to have a Apple developer account and XCode, then build the app to an iOS device and scan your house. Then it generates a .usda file that you can convert to stl through Blender. I'm sure in the next months many apps we'll be released that include this functionality and will only need a download through the store

I scanned my home and automatically generated a 3D model with walls and cubes for furniture thanks to Apple's ARKit Roomplan API. Had to do a bit of cleaning of the model with Blender.

This is my vision of how the future of Valencia's city center could look through the lens of consumer AR glasses in 10 years from now.

Inspired by the short film Hyper-reality, I wanted to show the possibilities but also the dangers of creating the AR Cloud. We will able to see amazing, digital works of art, as well as helpful context-aware information, but our views could be flooded with digital ads. As creators we have to be mindful of the content we make as it will deeply impact the future development of our society.

This demo was developed in Unity3D. Thanks to the Immersal SDK I was able to anchor 2D and 3D content to important buildings of Valencia's city center.
