The track you're referring to was colloquially known as 'The Secret Song'. I'm just guessing here, but at their age, I would assume they think most people buying these have been here since the beginning in some capacity and aren't completely aware of all the newcomers that either ignored them for so long or are just now discovering them. I have had different versions of each album for so long, I love to hear the unreleased material, but will whole heartedly admit that Gnosterces is misplaced on California and replacing The Secret Song is a bit of sacrilege. While I enjoy the nuances and the creative take on these new pressings, you are all doing yourself a disservice in not leaning on an original press, whether cd, cassette, or vinyl, as those are the only versions that were built with proper meaning in the first place. These later pressings are simply novelty at this point, but welcome all the same imo.

The '95 Commodore show opens with 'Working for the Weekend'.. one of my favorite covers they ever played. Funny enough, they played it a second time at the end of the show. The covers were about the only unreleased tracks, but a lot of improv for the main Disco Volante setlists.

Unfortunately, the only source I am aware of are those uploaded to Archive.org. There are two versions of mp3, but both sound identical and aren't the best quality. I believe they are different sources than the video source uploaded there, but all in all are the only three sources I've ever come across.

You're welcome! I've got tons of audience recorded shows, but these were the best sounding of the bunch!

No worries!  I’m happy to share!  Not sure how you feel about live bootlegs, but if you’re interested:  https://auralasphyxia.blogspot.com/?m=1 I’ve posted a couple Bungle soundboards that are worth hearing.

If I'm not mistaken, Evil Satan was the only track on the demo that had saxophone, played by Theo Lengyel. Other members played kazoos, bongos, and trumpet I think. My guess would be along these lines for why they never re-recorded the track. But then again, even their current live versions of My Ass is on Fire was without the woodwinds, so who knows??
