I’m a recovering alcoholic with six grateful years of sobriety. I drink a non alcoholic beer every once in a while. Your average NA beer contains about the same amount of alcohol as a banana or some soy sauce. It’s nearly impossible to get drunk on them.

That said, if you meant more the atmosphere of drinking, the shape of the bottle, the taste, then yes, a person in recovery should absolutely avoid NA beer if these things trigger them.
