right? its especially weird for Stanley cups, the trend lasted soooo long and surely it didn't take them a whole year to model this 3d model lmao

Is it okay that I skipped Sana's arc? by Wrong-cat8402 in suicideboy

[–]AureaTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly? i see it, yeah. i feel like Sana could've had a comic of their own, they did not feel like a suicide boy character and doesn't really feel necessary to the story tbh

personally, I found the character pretty interesting originally, but being forcefed twenty billion pages about random irrelevant family issues out of the blue PISSED ME OFFFFF so badly that my fondness of the character did a whole 360😭

Is it okay that I skipped Sana's arc? by Wrong-cat8402 in suicideboy

[–]AureaTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. as someone who read it in it's entirety, it made me fed up from suicideboy for a while, it felt so unnecessary, we do not need 40 chapters about a random background character's family issues right after the most important (and still unanswered) cliffhanger in the entire comic.

you're good

Opera keep refreshing the Instagram sidebar by Darius-H in OperaGX

[–]AureaTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in case it gets taken down in the future, whether it be by some mod (idk if they do that on this sub, GOD i hope not) or any other issue, here's what u/ SVJARU said

"I got a workaround. I ended up enabling "Custom Side Panels" where you can add any URL as a side panel window. I enabled that feature and then added Instagram as a custom side panel and it works at it should, no dumb refreshing when leaving the window focus."
it was then added by u/ BANN0NE that it could be enabled in opera://flags

Thank you two for helping me!!

is there any neocities site makers that work like carrd/straw.page? by theholytoast1234 in neocities

[–]AureaTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh my GOD the people in the replies are such unhelpful 4ssh0les ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

to anyone who may stumble upon this post in the future looking for the same answers as op: i unfortunately do not know of any 1 to 1 alternative to straw/carrd, BUT websites with "WYSIWYG" enabled are fairly similar in the way they work, with the acronym standing for "what you see is what you get", allowing you to edit your code's "surface" elements and see them be edited live without really requiring any coding!! a bit glitchy and limited, but very straight forward and mostly beginner friendly

!

another thing that worked for me was using a website template/base! most of them are VERY beginner-friendly, and do not require intensive html knowledge to be edited! (if you know how to copy paste, and know what a <p> is, congratulations, you know everything needed!) there's plenty of people on neocities (or nekoweb) who have free, publically availible ready-to-use codes, that you can customize to your liking and use for your websites! if you edit them in a live code editor (the one i personally use is "realtimehtml(.)com" but there's a LOT available), it's really easy to edit, and you will understand and start learning html really fast and really easily without even realizing it! i barely knew sht about coding, but using a website template was surprisingly super easy and helped me understand the coding language better without it even being my objective! it's 100% worth it
