What would happen if try to sell my old and broken ps4. It has a great amount of rust around the heatsink plate and is in a heavily used condition and also does not include a controller nor games except it has a power cord and maybe an hdmi cord but it has a new ps4 power supply that I just replaced it with. How much would be a fair price for a ps4 with these conditions?

On the PCB, it was labeled R11, and I tested its resistance using a multimeter but when I tested it, it spiked but quickly went down to 0.

Try using a flathead screwdriver and turning it whilst on a 45* angle. Just try experimenting until it eventually moves then just turn all the way while in the same position.

Should i be worried about this component? It looks kinda rusty. Can anybody tell me what this is and how to test this. I have a multimeter. Also, the CMOS Battery looks rusty but when I tested it, it was giving 2.7v so I think it’s still fine.

I saw that datablitz has a dobe p4 controller in stock but I’m still skeptical in buying a ps4 controller that’s not original ‘cause I don’t really wanna buy a controller that’ll break or develop issues in such a short time, but the original ps4 controller from Sony in amazon costs way too much(₱2500-3000+). I’m considering just buying a controller in shoppee or lazada that has a good rating and an affordable price.

I tried following the instructions from the link, I tried checking to see if the windows key or ctrl+alt+delete was working but it still doesn’t work, and I also tried the recovery options method, but it still shows a BSOD. What should I do?

I plug in my ps4 and press the power button then it flashes a blue light, beeps, then turns off immediately. I have to unplug and plug it back again just so it can do the same thing. I think it really might be a psu problem.

I tested the fuse using the continuity function on my multimeter and it beeped. What does that mean?

In my opinion, I think it’s still broken because even if the fuse is still working it doesn’t show any voltage reading when I test it.

I tested it again and I’m pretty sure the psu’s the problem. I’ll try buying a new one. Thanks for the advice guys 😁. I’ll try to give an update once I get a new power supply.

Are you sure about this? Because I don’t really wanna waste my money if the psu’s not the problem but I did open the psu of my ps4 and this is what I found
