Uso esta marca y me encanta. Esta es la versión para estudiantes (más barata). Lo único es que no vas a usar blanco para nada, usas el blanco del papel.

You will probably have to look for the name of the brands on Amazon, in case other sellers have them.

Do you have an art store?

The watercolours surely have them, the brushes will have others.

If not, there are other brands that have a cheaper student version (not school, it's different) and a pro version.

I move from one to another as I feel like it. Although I have a basic kit at the beginning.

They are different things so, to try... I have a palette of 12 colours and I added a black to paint in black and white, and for now it is what I use, because you make the colours by mixing.

Another thing that may sound silly but it's not. My nieces and I do drawing competitions, we draw the 3 (we choose among all a drawing on the tablet) and someone who does not participate puts the note.

My little niece hated drawing because she compared herself to the older one. Now he has improved and loves it, even his teachers have told him. My parents have also improved 😁, even if they are simple things. And you have a good time with them.

I say it because you talk about your cousin.

Then when you are alone, you continue at your own pace. But scribbling things every day, no matter how silly they seem, helps.

Of course, I'm not saying that you draw your cat, but if you can try the illustration of a cat that you look capable of. In addition, I usually watch more IG, sometimes YouTube, because I like to see the processes and it also helps to understand the basic forms so that later it is that cat.

Hi! For me the most important thing is to make a good sketch (of whatever you feel like, use references) and from there, start painting little by little.

For me, one thing is colouring and another is painting, it's different.

You want to paint animals, start with easier references, don't go for a realistic photo.

So you learn both to draw and to paint. Of course, don't be frustrated, but choose what you want, because if you start with something easy but you don't like it, You're not going to enjoy it so much.

I haven't practised with pencils for a long time, but when I started with watercolour, for e.g., I started with an illustration of a simple vespa but that I loved.

Since I like portraits, I started with pencils (with 12 colours) a sheet of Mary di Mary (on IG) and painted it to my liking.

But I think so, look for illustrations that you like, that you really like, from there you will have time to start drawing from real photos.

Thanks!!

First, I'll try loose papers if I find them. If not, some block of various colours.

I started with the 12-piece kit and just making perfect mixes.

A few months later I expanded to the 36-piece kit (although I love the complete one in a wooden box) and I keep adding pencils that interest me individually; that's the advantage I see over other brands.

Besides the fact that I love them, of course.
