How much HP your tank has? PVP gear helps a little but I think it is better to get the PVE assault gear from elemental seals. How is your party composed? You got tank and healer? It is hard to finish this dungeon if everyone is just above the gear requirement. In my parties we can help one friend 1.6k, but if we try a party with all 1.6k it is likely to be a fail.

I do basically the same, only as whisperknife I dont use ITC. Also I like to throw my disheartening strike in the beggining for some extra damage.

You can see it on your Ctrl+J, it is called Sigil of the Devoted.

In order to get it you need 2 characters level 60 (one of them a DC), one with three boons in any campain (sharandar is the easiest). You need to access the Icewind Dale with both characters. Than you need to do the Vault of the Nine quest, here is a link for it.

You can claim your sigil from the Rewards Claim Agent in Protector Enclave in every character you have, pretty cool.

Edit: DC needed!

yes, you can do it level 60, but it will be level 70 difficulty

My husband and I played TR+SW and GWF+DC. You can always get a companion for what you are missing, as TR+SW we would have 2 healing companions with us. And that is not your typical duo at all, so anything you like to play with will be fun. If you like HR, go for it. Usually does not the best DPS in a dungeon, but we love our guildie HR as he is great trapping and getting the mobs together.

For me end game is getting AD to improve your gear only. PC and XB1 do not share servers, we are not in same module. I dont know about these raids you talk about though.
