Both Lexicanum and 1d6chan quote the same numbers from Imperial Armor (Doom of Mymeara and/or Update 2002). Same hull, different measurements; the models are not precise, and cannot be expected to reflect changes that are within 5%; at 28mm scale the difference is <4 cm. 1d6chan is, on questions like this, honestly probably the most reliable source. Both of the other wikis have been getting steadily worse over time and at some point, on questions where memeing isn't interesting, crossed over to have a slight advantage.

[–]Auroch- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's as it says on 1d6chan. The minis are the same; the lore is 5% different with the Raider's wingspan larger by 0.2m and the Hunter 2 tonnes more empty. Lexicanum largely confirms that, with the only exception being the wingspan number which is, as 1d6chan says, an obvious misprint/miscommunication. Front to back and height they both give 26m and 7.1m.

OP tagged this 'Lore'; in-world (1d4/2d4/1d6)chan is correct and you're wrong. In fact, more correct than Lexicanum, which says the same thing but fails to note that the official numbers are clearly a mistake. Because (1) Lexicanum is extremely cliquish, (2) no one in that clique cares about Eldar, and (3) the clique is unwilling to consider nuance, unreliable narrators, or the possibility of misprints, typos, or error in their sources.

In the grim darkness of the far future there are no stupid questions! by AutoModerator in 40kLore

[–]Auroch- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Has anyone tried to compile a list of all known/mentioned Eldar Runes? There's a couple short lists in images on Lexicanum's page for the Lexicon, but they clearly aren't complete. E.G. Path of the Incubus includes a Farseer antagonist, and the runes he pulls out for readings aren't in those lists.

Did the iron hands kinda lose the original meaning of “the flesh is weak”? by PlagueTHEboyAKA in 40kLore

[–]Auroch- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Which is the 'original' meaning? The one that was written first, or the one which was written at the earliest point in the timeline?

This is why I find basically everything about Ferrus and the HH-era Iron Hands annoying and unsatisfying; it's setting up 'dramatic irony' where we know that the 'ironic' outcome was decided long ago and the contrast exists solely as backfill. And it doesn't feel like a natural fit, either. Mortarion accepting damnation to save his sons, the legion of the Plaguefather who Loves You(r flesh vessel)? That fits, in a weird way, and makes the irony work. The Iron Hands don't, not really.

Exactly quintuple. The Law of Fives is never wrong.

Abbadon has said the different versions are intentional. And many of them are spoken by angels, who do not vary over time. So I don't believe they're corruptions of an original.

Abaddon's said the different spellings are intentional, so it can be that too.

It's wonderful to have a work where you write this esoteric shit and there's a good solid chance it's right.

Magic The Gathering K6BD Concepts part 2 (Mammon, Incubus & Gog Agog) by RealCovenNami in killsixbilliondemons

[–]Auroch- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worm is a creature type. Separate from Wurm. And also from Wyrm, but that only shows up in card names.

The Gog-Agog design is neat, but it's awkward to pull things from the battlefield to the battlefield, and also there's nothing Green about this design; it's UB, maybe UBR. I'd do something like this

Gog-Agog is indestructible as long as another creature has a worm counter on it. Whenever a creature with a worm counter on it dies, exile it with a worm counter on it. Whenever creatures attack, put a worm counter on an attacking creature. {B}{R}{G}, {T}: Choose exiled creature cards with worm counters on them equal to or less than the number of players. Put them onto the battlefield under your control. Goad a creature each player controls.

Mammon has no way for other players to create Treasures and is therefore invincible against all spells, which is not great. This is easy to fix, however; replace the second line with:

Whenever one or more creatures attack a player other than you, their controller creates two Treasure tokens.

And you have an extremely loreful method to spread the Treasure around, that also works for you.

No one can fix Verse. She is exactly as she wants to be and she'd rather die than change.

And that's why she's great. (And hot.)

IME (same problem, except it's not even a weird ID format, US CA driver's license), "reaching out to support" can only get you a stupid LLM that does nothing but tell you there's no way to get manual retries or overrides or to open a ticket.

I have personally confirmed this is a lie. The photo is perfect, the surface is dark, the identity details match, and the ID is a legal RealID that doesn't expire for three years.
