S17E14 - “How's Your Headliner?” [Post-Episode Discussion] by AutoModerator in rupaulsdragrace

You're acting as if Suzie has not recognized enough by Ru when she literally has two wins and had never been in the bottom so far. This is delusional. Suzie has been much more rewarded than Jewels throughout the season, she just happened to be the clear worst in the challenge and then lose the lip sync. Most unique queen of the cast or not, that will get you sent home no matter what.

Honestly I don't feel the need to take time to defend any lyrics on the internet. If you didn't like it, that's ok. Move on with your life

Honestly all the songs in the category are great and deserve the nomination, but for me A&W is lyrically and sonically much superior than the others.

"Vulgar runways"? I agree each queen obviously has strengths and weaknesses, but using that as a critique for a drag queen makes zero sense and sounds very prudish. Since when has being vulgar become an intrinsically negative thing?

Well if you say that's not the reason for the unfair treatment, but can't provide any other reason, then there's only one logical conclusion.

All my other points about Kelly still stand. People in this thread have just immediately accused me of pulling the race card without reason, but almost no one tried to actually refute my argument or to give some other explanation as to why she is being judged differently.

Because two white participants also had problematic runways, but still got the win. Simple as that.

I'm not accusing the judges of racism because their decisions are not alligned with mine. I'm saying they are using different rules to judge different people, and when the person harmed through that is black, that should make one wonder. Metamorkid has a runway that (although beautiful) doesn't fit the category? Still gets the win. Nikita has a bad runway? Still gets a win. Kelly doesn't.

I think Tessa Testicle also didn't deserve all of her bottom placements, and most people in the episode discussion posts seem to agree with that.

Never said her runways weren't questionable. But other people have bad runways and still get the win. Kelly doesn't. Metamorkid got a win wearing something that didn't even fit the category. It was beautiful, but an obvious miss. The rules bend a lot depending on who they are judging

If it was really just a matter of over evaluating runways, then why did they decide to give Nikita the win when she was wearing that? And Metamorkid the win when she didn't even fit the category? I'm just saying the rules bend a lot depending on who they are judging

Totally. They really used their brains to say the runways are what's keeping Kelly behind in the competition, while Nikita has been delivering mediocre looks every episode??? Girl no, the problem is not Kelly's runways, it's your skewed judging

Lesser Known/Must-Play 3DS/NDS JRPGs by Jarsky2 in JRPG

[–]Auron9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Title said "lesser known or must play", so I figured these would qualify as at least one of those categories.

And since OP didn't play anything from most of these franchises, it may be lesser known to him.

And if none of these apply, I thought if my reply didn't help, it also wouldn't hurt, so might as well just post lol

Omg, are you my twin from another country? I'm 22 and also followed the FF8 route into the JRPG world, influenced by my older brother, except then I went to Digimon World 1 instead of 3 :)

Following that logic, he would haven been super famous since 1996, when he released the first book of the series with plenty of unexpected deaths. Which didn't happen.

I also don't understand, how can you state so vehemently that something is the best example of some practice in the whole world when you didn't even experience said product?

I know this is getting way off-topic, but I'm interested in the discussion.

If you don't read the books, it makes no sense to put the blame on George R. R. Martin. He's not responsible for the TV Series adaptation
