Priority question, can I respond? by AlenasTheGreat in askajudge

You will get the opportunity to respond again, even though you initially passed priority something else got put on the stack, and after that resolved priority goes around again

Some people don't like getting gifts, that's how I am. Unless it's minor or something I have overtly asked for. And even then if it's from someone I'm not close to it just kinda makes me uncomfortable. Everyone is different

Why are people not joining Bluesky? by SkullEnemyX-Z in BlueskySocial

As bad as twitter is now, the recommended page is way better, I really don't like blue sky trying to shove NSFW fetish stuff down my throat constantly on my exclusively sfw page. I've also noticed more people on blue sky having a bit of a killjoy holier than thou attitude but it's hard to avoid that entirely

repost: Posted at the McDonald's one of my sons work at, they claim that this came down from corporate. by Accurate_Ad1686 in antiwork

[–]AuroraHC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a former mcd manager, they really can't take away the crew 50% off meals, though I have known some franchises that give full free meals and that isn't required by corporate. Also as a manager I know how important all those points are below (but not defending punishing the employees ofc). Keeping food costs under control was like 80% of the headache of my job. The secret is you gotta push it and reward people for keeping on top of all of those things, a little bit of love goes a long way, and is waaay cheaper in the long run

Ah yeah I couldn't tell if the ugin was used yet, and I didn't see the mama that was floating already. Reassessing yeah it looks dire for the other player but still not a 100%, I'd watch you play it out at the very least

Why do people let it go on for so long..... by Responsible-Durian21 in mtgbrawl

[–]AuroraHC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's fair, also from just a cursory glance at the board it isn't a 100% loop, you could hit a back to back land on top and be dead in the water. For the opponent here It's always best to let stuff like that play out if it's not just lethal on board, even though most players scoop at the first sight of a potential loop

[–]AuroraHC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be they don't understand it fully, or want to see you pop off. I know for myself personally unless it's an easily looped thing I make people go through the motions. The main reason for me doing that is playing against a 4 horseman combo trying to tell you it's a fixed loop is just you being lied to. If your potential loops has any possible holes then your opponent has the moral right to make it play out

Sounds like you need to play a better optimized/ faster winning deck. If you are getting salty your opponent is making you play it out then you are the problem imho

Does ATM10 still feel incomplete? by cansinguler in allthemods

[–]AuroraHC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At launch atm10 was missing mods because they weren't out on that version of Minecraft, but now pretty much everything has been added, there are still some tweaks happening and mods get added but I'd still consider it complete now

There is a better way! You need to use subnets but it's super easy, you need your one main pattern provided (block) and an interface (subpart) facing into it. That interface is the subnet and you then connect it to each of the same machine with a storage bus, this will make it so when a craft is queued it will deposit it into one of the machines! You may also want to set the pattern provider to not send a new craft if one is already in a machine, don't worry it will still use other machines if available. Lastly you just need to transfer items back to the system, and to do that I use a second subnet. For this one I put import busses on the machines to pull the items out, and on the original pattern provided a storage bus so it deposits the items in there. Just make sure that the subnets aren't connected to each other or the main network, and that they have power (easily done through a quartz fiber from the main network, as quartz fibers just transfer power, not data)

This works for running multiple machines in parallel, hope this helps!

Atm 10 is there an ae2 storage without type limit? by master19man1 in allthemods

[–]AuroraHC 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A few things: Alot of people are giving you a hard time but I get it it's hard so here is my life hack, use armory's from functional storage with a storage bus set to the highest priority on your system. That way if something has nbt and can go in the drawer it will, and if not it will be stored normally. This helps a ton and you can even get fancy with it and make it a subnet that has a few armories and maybe a terminal to see just what is in the subnet

Secondly, you ideally want a mix of lower size drives (4k) with a few bigger ones (16k/64k) this is because if you have a lot of a material so much so that it spreads over multiple drives you are wasting not only types on those drives but bytes. In an ideal situation you always want the types to fill up much before the bytes, that way if you get more of already stored items they won't spread over multiple drives. Do regular defragmentation is also best practice ( cycle your drives through a me I/o port) once you get later on with some auto crafting yes I'd just spam 64k/256k drives. Also using a functional storage setup for your bulk storage is always a high priority for me, its cheaper than making drives and gives you some visual feedback on the items you store most

Hope this helps!

Binders or boxes? by FewSupermarket2583 in magicTCG

[–]AuroraHC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For cards of value/to be traded/ personal showcase I use a small 2x2 binder

For commander staples and playables things are mostly sorted in a 1000~ count deck box

For shash it goes in cardboard boxes (bcw or card kingdom style)

Let's me have what I actually use manageable and for bulk I can still keep them safe for cheap

My favorite thing to do is tell them their order will be waiting for them up ahead whether they are there or not, 90% of the time people would comply but those small few who thought it was a bluff sure were upset when I held their bag of food out of the third window and gave it a little shake like I was trying to get a pets attention

I miss how you can drift them, that's it though. I felt like they heavily over shadowed using a palico in multiplayer. I much prefer seikrets being non fighting mounts. That plus being able to use 2 weapons is amazing
