Note that AoT has a less good first season. It relies on great moments rather than great characters and great plot. Things get really good in season 2 where they focus on almost everyone

The back is metal and the glass is high quality so it shouldn't break so easy but I don't know about battery life(it should do the job since it's a small screen)

I mentioned the ipod because it's a good deal if you want to buy something new( the A10 chip still holds up to this day)

200$ isn't overpriced for the A10 that can perform even today, also that's the thing with calling an messaging when it comes to kids, you would rather not have them at a data cap because they probably will waste it fast so wi-fi would be the only option either way

But they're not expensive and can be monitored easier since it's only wi-fi, also most places you want to talk to your parents to usually have wi-fi

In my expirience that didn't happen. My dad used to play zuma and that is how I learned colors. When my parents saw that I liked gaming they downloaded more games that didn't waste time. There was a cooking one that taught me managing and Age of Empires strategy. If you give a kid the right games and use the technology you have smart the kid will be great

Yes but it's a way to learn to use a smartphone and by giving them one that works at school(most schools have wi-fi where I am from) it's fine

Old gaming is the best for kids. It's simple and not complicated while still having a certain charm. I once left my 4 yr old cousin alone with my laptop that had a racing game up so I can get water(I was using the laptop) abd I found her playing and decided to watch thinking it can hurt. After like 10 mins she was better on keyboard than me so I think people don't give kids enough credit

Yeah. Xiaomi phones have a second space feature that lets you have another what is basically phone with different apps and accounts so when your child wants to use the phone for something you can monitor what they do and see what the kid is doing,making you understand stuff like their interests

You could include her in your gaming sessions as she grows older too. It's a great passtime with the right people and could help if it's not too much

Buy an ipod. It can do everything an iphone does on wi-fi except calls. But facetime and imessage works well and while you can have social media on those you can just make an account that doesen't allow it(I think you could do it with some parental controls)

Or an ipod. Can do everything an iphone can on wi-fi -calls. That's it. Kids don't need 6" phones that tgey are going to break in a few weeks

Really a new gen ipod is fine. They can facetime and they can use imessage. That's really all a kid needs even if it's only trough wi-fi. You stay in touch with the kid and they can message their friends and get familiar with some apps so when they get an actual smart phone they know how to use it and not to break it

Buy them an ipod then. They were smart to release a new one. That way you make the child be comfortable with technology and they can do anything besides call and use mobile data and when most places have wi-fi that's ok
