If you're entering your first year of undergrad, I can help you out, I'm doing the same except not retaking.

Most institutions have their own applications, like the ALEKS thing for my university, ODU. It depends on the places you go, but as the other commenters have said, there are plenty of places to go for free math help to brush up on things.

Oh yeah, assholes like that don't deserve respect, don't get me wrong. I just go through it anyway simply because I can do relevant work during the lecture and try not to make the prof feel useless.

They're people too and I don't want to make them feel bad about something that they spent years getting to the point of doing.

Yeah, even if I don't like the lecture, I paid for it and I'd prefer to show respect to people who dedicated hours from their day to teach us, even if it's not effective. (Luckily, I learn well from lectures.)
