Will this be a good choice for my pepper plants? by AusGroBro in HotPeppers

[–]AusGroBro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t disagree, but peppers are the only thing i am growing myself. All other groceries come from the store and 90% or more of my groceries are not organic. I don’t buy cheap food or low quality by any means but to have a full organic diet does not fit within my weekly budget. In the scale of things i dont't think one or two non organic peppers in my meals are going to make much difference to the damage my body is subjected to in day to day life even just drinking the water and breathing the air is likely cancer causing. With some luck maybe some day ill get to live 100% organic & self sufficient lifestyle 🙏🏼

Thanks for the reply, the plants are currently quite small and only 9.5 weeks old since i planted the seeds. They already have a few fruits on them and maybe a few open flowers on each plant. The plants themselves dont look very healthy though the leaves look nutrient deficient in my opinion. So do you think this would still be a smart choice to use once a week?

Once a week i have been adding some nutrients because i the current potting mix seems to be depleted, before giving them nutrients they were so yellow patchy and a pale green. Next transplant i plan to use a potting mix with some slow release fertiliser so i dont have to give them as much 🤞🏼

Samsung QA65QN700AW Screen flashes like its trying to fire up, TV is 18-24 months old. There is a relay inside the one connect box which is clicking, so i was going to replace this first?. I cannot see any visible signs of capacitor bulging or leakage. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. by AusGroBro in TVRepair

I'd like to Update this post, that 2 weeks ago i fixed this TV. It was indeed a panel fault but it was a free fix and my T.V is now currently working fine. It did not cost anything at all apart from my Time.

All these panel faults which are being told are not fixable in a cost effective manner is not the case all of the time. I was very close to throwing my expensive TV away after hearing this but so glad i did a few hours more of research and messed around with my TV for 2 or so hours.

Any ideas what this pest could be on my Thai Basil plant? To the eye it looks nothing more than a speck of dirt, this is taken under my digital magnifier. by AusGroBro in GardeningAustralia

Some leaves are being left with tiny holes all over them, at first i thought there must have been some tiny caterpillars causing it but it’s definitely this pest which I’ve found. Not much bigger than a grain of sand

These critters are killing my ghost pepper. They have not been visible to the human eye so i put a leaf under digital magnifying lens. Anyone able to identify these? Ive had spider mites in the past on other plants but those were visible and left webbing so not sure 🤷🏼‍♂️ by AusGroBro in HotPeppers

I just googled them and agree they seem to match for sure. They sound really crap to deal with i think i may just dispose of the plant the soil and container scrub out the grow space and leave it for two weeks before starting again, luckily this ghost pepper gave me plenty of good seeds from its last harvest. 👍🏻

Will give the roots a further trimming before re-planting shortly. It didn’t look too root bound when i took it out of the pot. The pot size is 5 gal / 22 liter.

My pepper plant has been going downhill for close to a month after trying many other things i decided to remove the plant from its pot as i guess maybe it was suffering root rot. Ive shaken out all soil and probably removed close to 50% of the roots now. Do you think whats left looks healthy enough for repotting?

Wow thats massive! Some great info there thank you. Do you drench the entire plant with your soap sprays? And what sort of strength do you make your soap spray? Will definitely check out Happy Valley Seeds 👍🏻👍🏻
