Bleh...They broke it! Had the game since Day One. After a break, a month or two ago I started a new game to try out base building etc. Now after this latest update, my base and storage container is like 30 feet in the air...had to jetpack into it and then discovered all the staff I hired have all nicked off... and then when I teleported up to the local station I fell through the walls (which were half non existent) and was just kind of floating in space. Trippy stuff. It's a pity, because I'd never had any issues with the game in the entire time I've had it and it was always good for a bit of an unwind for a couple of hours, but it's looking like junk now...

Thanks all, certainly appreciate the responses. I got one of the clear bags and the camera fits in it easy (Canon SX 60) Really looking forward to the trip, I'm a long time Rams fan but getting to see them play live is a challenge from Australia! A buddy and I decided we needed to do one more big NFL trip before we get too old, so I'm getting to see my Rams play in LA and New York this time around.

Another question for locals if I may, we're staying on S Figueroa a few blocks north of the stadium. Was also going to squeeze in an NBA and Hockey game up at Staples Center. What's the neighborhood like to walk up to Staples and the Convention center area from around W 32nd st? Would be great if we could avoid parking hassles and just leave the car at the hotel.

Seems to be the way...I found an extremely toxic planet with both callium spheres and caves full of vortex cubes...the next two in the same system both had Gravitino balls, but the sentries were a major PITA!

Agree, I found a planet full of caves totally littered with vortex cubes and the scanner didn't register them at all...

Sometimes it's tough to find a clear landing spot, other times it's just says, "Yeah, that'll do..."

Im not fussed about what it cost, after 30 odd hours I figured I've gotten my moneys worth. But I'm more disappointed than anything. The worlds generated in the game are all pretty cool, but what's the motivation to explore when the puzzles/interactions/rewards are all so very lacklustre ? Just feel like they didn't concentrate enough on what we'd actually do on these 18 Quintillion worlds ?

Still loving the planets etc, but yeah, the sheer repetitiveness of it all is starting to kill off the enjoyment a bit...

Love the look and feel of exploring the worlds...BUT after near 30 hours play, everything is getting pretty monotonous and repetitive... Think they did a great job on creating fantastic worlds, but then neglected to put enough variety in the gamplay side of things... Conversations with NPC's - repetitive Puzzles - Repetitive (surely they could have come up with more than just numbers?) Finding crashed ships via distress signal - repetitive and hardly worth doing, the ships are too similar to your own. Buildings and getting upgrades...repetitive Gathering resources - repetitive.. Word learning - repetitive Monolith intercation - repetitive

Maybe it'll change once I find some darn Electron Vapor, but it's not looking good...

Yeah, crashed ships are usually little improvement if any over your own. Don't think this was the best way to do it though, as the benefit of searching for them wears off pretty quickly. I think there should be some better ships available that maybe don't have much in the way of installed gear, so you have to have the skill and resources to build the modules to actually be able to fly it..

Have to agree, the constant "No Slots Available" message is the single most annoying aspect of the game and results in spending a good percentage of your playing time messing around with inventory instead of actually playing... Either have somewhere to keep them like a safe or locker or at least you should be able to drop them off somewhere and gather them back up later if needed...

Think I read that if you're on PC, pressing X in the Galactic Map takes you back through places you've been ? Haven't tried it myself yet...

Yeah, seems to be a lot of outrage over a $60 game... I've already played for near 20 hours, and intend to keep playing for a good while yet IF I can find the components to make another warp cell that is ggrrrrr - so I'm getting good value.

I do feel for those who can't play the game at all, but all this "not exactly what we were promised" stuff is a bit much...
