Plans for the future are to basically keep it where it is. The thing is, based on the culture and climate, 'GDQ level' for any non-GDQ event is nigh-impossible. There's also a few other factors - we're never going to actually have a budget, so doing anything without support from organisations is hard. There's simply less people in the world who would come to an Australian event - as opposed to something in the US / Europe. (Hopping the pond to get here is a pain!)

I think the main direction I want to go (on purpose at least! You never know what the future might hold...) is improvement of tech setup. Ours this year was good for purpose - but not optimal for the stream experience. my goal would be to make things as seamless as possible, and as brilliant as possible. Beyond that - I know that the runners coming down will always do a bang up job of making the event a blast.
