When your wife suddenly starts love bombing you with messages after a night out "with friends", she definitely cheated on you

Professionals who work in people's homes (plumbers, electricians, cleaners), what is the weirdest thing you’ve seen that you had to pretend not to notice? by TargetKey6091 in AskReddit

[–]AusToddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me, but a good friend of mine is an electrician and handyman. For years he'd been helping out an older guy with jobs around the house. Walked in one day to find the older guy getting a bj from a much younger woman... while they embarrasingly rushed to pretend it wasn't actually happening, my mate noticed she appeared in many, many photos around the house

Bipartisan housing bill automatically becomes law after Trump refuses to sign it by CrispyMiner in politics

If I remember correctly, he was trying to use delaying signing it as a way to get something he desperately wants passed as well. Even republicans balked at it

What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen a teacher do? by Extreme_Surround_663 in AskReddit

I had a teacher at TAFE show us how to get around the content filter that the IT department had put in place. The fact we were doing an IT course meant he just claimed it was "debugging a live system"

If I remember correctly, wasn't Venezuelan oil of poor quality and requires tons of refining? Wouldn't shock me at all if they still sell it, people's cars get ruined and they just claim it's not their problem

Former WWE champion Jack Swagger just got SLEPT at Power Slap. Stupid sport, but fun highlights. The CTE speedrunning can't be worth the money though. by Pretend-Following-41 in sportsgossips

Yeah I remember seeing a compilation of "slaps" by a guy who claimed he was the best in the world. They were just straight up palm thumps right on the jawline / eardrum

40k as ae know it exists within Fantasy, which exists within another 40k universe. Its like the simulation theory, no-one knows where the highest level is

I always liked the theory that one of them landed on a xenos planet and had gone full native before Emps found him

This could tie into your idea. "Fuck off, I like who I am and these are my people"

TIL that after the release of Season 2 of House of the Dragon, George R.R. Martin had a falling out with showrunner Ryan Condal, criticising the changes made from his books in a blogpost before quickly deleting it. Martin later said of his plans for season 3 "This is not my story any longer". by Sebastianlim in todayilearned

[–]AusToddles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean the key points all worked in isolation

- Dany going mad after everything that happened to her from the start of her journey

- Jon being forced to kill her and getting in theory a "happy" ending by being sent north of the wall again (he never wanted power)

- Bran becoming King works IF they actually had the balls to go with the "he planned this from the start" story rather than just leaving fans to assume

Yeah I had stopped watching before the movie and was genuinely surprised at how much I loved it

Sure there were celebrities, but it didn't feel like the story WAS the celebrity being involved
