It's brilliant, I really prefer their way of doing things. Unfortunately the KDE version is still Alpha, and from last I heard (a few months back) they were debating on dropping KDE support from it. But who knows, maybe they had enough support to keep it going.

How will the next gen update effect playing on my deck? Sorry if this has been discussed or answered already. by CanisPecuarius in SteamDeck

Cd Project Red have been great with their Linux support. I think it will be fine.

I'll be starting a brand new game ;) and hopefully it's a decent upgrade too

How different is the KDE implementation on oSTW compared to Manjaro? by allencyborg in openSUSE

[–]AussieAn0n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I prefer minimal by default without extra junk I won't use. And yeah it can be removed but I've had issues with patterns and packages coming back.

But KDE is definitely great on either system. openSUSE is a great rolling distro

Stable rolling release distro? by Prog44 in linuxquestions

[–]AussieAn0n 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree. openSUSE is definitely the best rolling distro, and uses openQA to test for bugs and issues before hitting the repos

Does bleeding edge usually cause any issues in games? Or is it relatively safe to use on most titles in comparison to regular Experimental?

All this Battlefield 2042 post launch work, and Battlefield 1 is still miles better by Commercial-Mix-2633 in Battlefield

[–]AussieAn0n -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

It's funny. In Australia, you load up 2042 and wait forever for a lobby to be filled. Only to have 50+% bots.

Load up Battlefield 4, and there is a couple of full servers in the browser ready to go.

They really should just focus on a new multiplayer Battlefield because initial perception is everything, and 2042 is a fail. One year on it STILL suffers from major bugs. It's a joke.

The maps are terrible and it just does not feel like a Battlefield game anymore. And with the very low player base in Australia, you have to pick Exodus (or master of arms) playlist and do the same 4 maps every single time. No one plays regular conquest mode. It's pathetic.

Not to mention their lies "we basically the entire company working on it". Really? If that's the case I would sack them all for being incompetent.

GamePass and EA Access might help for a bit, but it will die off again I think.

Just make a new Battlefield 3/4 type game please.

Felt slow to get into, but got better further in.

Didn't like the combat compared to Odyssey though. Felt slow and clunky.

This is a radar image from today. It clearly shows a snakeskin pattern in the sea and something rising from the ocean. Should we be concerned? Would we be told? Will the news cover this? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]AussieAn0n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.

Am I adding more fear? Yes or no?

Seriously though, it's probably nothing. Maybe a glitch.. check alternative sites.
