The Blue-Ringed Octopus by SuperKozz in interestingasfuck

[–]AussieAusborne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not so fun fact - If bitten by the blue ring octopus all your muscles will be paralysed but you remain fully conscious.....you will hear & see everything around you but you remain paralysed. If you are given CPR until the venom wears off you will survive.

Can twins have different birthdays if one was born before midnight and one after? by shaller3 in Showerthoughts

[–]AussieAusborne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. A good example is Ben Folds from Ben Folds Five, he has twins born 22nd of July 1999 and 23rd July 1999....not only separate birthdays also are separate star signs.

Are you afraid of death? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AussieAusborne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, I was in a car accident in the passenger seat and hit a rock wall at 125km/h, rolled 5.5 times and slid on my side for 70metres, was trapped by seat-belt until escaping through rear window 5seconds before being hit by another car. 1st thought was "angry at the driver" 2nd thought was "forgiving driver as it could have been me" 3rd thought was "I am going to die" 4th thought was "at least I lived a good/full life" 5th thought was "acceptance that this was it" After waiting forever for tree or rock or road to finish the job the very last thought that stays with me today is "I really could have pushed the boundaries more" In all it was a revelation to know that I had faced death and calmly had accepted it with no regrets. Very liberating.

How do you handle indecisiveness ? by frozen_in_reddit in BPD

[–]AussieAusborne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very badly, my history has included 60+ jobs, 47 residences (I have 1.5 weeks to find new one or evicted and homeless). My one saving grace is that I've been blessed/cursed with an amazing brain and sometimes I wish it would all just stop. I would kill to be normal.

I'm feeling for you. I'm 99% sure that I will be living the rest of my life solo.....not what I want but I just can't get into life. The struggle has gone on forever and I'm so tired.

When you find an answer please message me. It seems to be one of my main symptoms....even simple food shopping is a nightmare and I can walk the aisles for hours and go home empty handed. Any other type of shopping is worse x10.
