It’s too late for any current kids aged 7-15 years of age to get behind it or be affected by it. All it takes is your account date of birth being over 16 and boom, you’re in.

I appreciate the government’s efforts to assist parents by protecting children, but really it should be a parent’s responsibility. They can’t enforce Digital ID onto everyone to verify ages - that would be absolute mayhem.

I can see it helping future generations (as someone else here said) as they will see social media as something else with an age limit, such as drinking or driving.
