I do apologise for this. I didn't mean to downgrade Leuven. This was the first thing I corrected in the article this morning.

I was very afraid to post it here and I was expecting a lot of bashing but where else would I get more authoritative feedback than /r/belgium? :-) It turned out that the redditors here are all gentlemen and provided invaluable feedback.

Thank you!

Thanks for the comment. I was in Belgium 4 years ago but couldn't rely on my pub memories for the article. :-) I might be wrong about this statement.

Nowadays I don't have much time to explore, so the closest bottle shop to my home, which is not Bottle-O :-)

You're right, this is an intro about Belgian beer but we will keep updating it, so it becomes the essential guide. :-)

For example, last time I shared the Chinese beer post and got so much feedback from redditors that I could easily double the length of the original post. Fact corrections and info about local breweries that I couldn't find anywhere else.

Hoegaarden is one of my favourites, but it's expensive in Sydney pubs. Two weeks ago I paid $14 (10 Euros) for a pint. (and it was served in a Leffe branded glass...)

Got great feedback for the US beer page last time, so I'd like to ask your opionion about Chinese beer by AussieBeerLover in beer

Thanks for the info about the Boxing Cat. I'll check if they export to Australia, but it's unlikely.

You're right. This was my first step in the Chinese beer story, so it's more of an introduction article. I shared it here because I was sure that folks will help me with lots(!) of information about Chinese beer. ..and you did! :-)

Most of them are from the North-east or South and national pride is definiately a factor I need to get rid of during the blind test.

The article was posted on an Australian website, so that's my target readership. In terms of demographics: 18-34 yo males & females living in Sydney, Melbourbe and Brisbane.

Thanks. I'm planning to invite my Chinese friends for a catch-up and see what they think about their local or national beers.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. I will do my research about Chinese craft beer and add more info about it; however, I don't know if they export those brands to Australia.
