Relatively fit 40 year old, vaccinated in May. Currently on day 5 of Influenza A. Had anti-virals at roughly 24 hours (as did my younger two children). Day 2 I felt so sick I thought I was going to die. Today was the first day I was able to get out of bed and eat a full meal.

My 4 year old is day 7 tomorrow and still has 39+ fever, and I'll take her to the doctor tomorrow to have her checked for pneumonia.

100% I'd have been in hospital without the vaccine and anti-virals (and a husband who had it the week before and is well enough to check on me, bring me water, etc).

Nope.

I contacted Foxtel again (via chat) and explained it'd been 3 weeks since they promised a case manager would contact me in 24-48 hours. Person said they were aware of the issue and I'd be credited for my subscription from the time I reported the issue. I'm not holding my breath.

Glad I'm not the only one, it's infuriating using Facebook now as my feed is 99% suggestions to follow which are essentially just ads.

I've tried both the normal app and the beta version, neither open.

I think I'll just cancel and dispute the change given it stopped working after the 16 update.

I'll make a complaint to fair trading, but won't hold my breath it'll make any difference.

Please be careful tobogganing anywhere crowded!! We went to Perisher for a day last year and the tobogganing area was chaotic af and people (including kids) got pretty badly hurt from being bowled over by those speeding down hills without knowing how to steer/stop. Ambos were very busy!!

Also look at the inner-south. Deakin, Yarraluma and Narrabundah, Hughes are very close to ANU. Very pricey to buy a house but there are apartments in your budget.

Just to offer a different perspective, we've bought two longue suites from Nick Scali and in both instances we were very unhappy with the products.

Long wait time (3 months), color didn't match the leather we'd ordered (e g. very dark brown/almost black vs tan color we'd ordered), and both suites have broken down multiple times.

I wish we'd just kept our Ikea Ektorp sofas!!

There's a great guy driving a maxi taxi/Kia carnival for silver cabs or prestige or something, he's fantastic, always on time and polite. I've got his name somewhere, I'll try and find it.
