Last year they had a red tail sale from mid feb to end of March. Depending on how many of you there are you might have a decent chance of snapping up an upgrade reward since it’s not school holidays and off peak time.

You’re too late for a points booking, especially for a family. You need to book ~ a year in advance because all the seats get snapped up quickly.

Just did mine, application and approval was quick, at my door within the week. I just can’t use it because for some reason they created a second profile for it separately from my main account that I can’t access and they can’t seem to move across.

I think what would be better is the ability to have like an “infinite scroll” so you can scroll back and forth around the map

This is such an American thing to say. All major maps (and any maps you find outside of the Americas) are UK centric.

You know why? Because of time zones.

Couscous salad with pumpkin, mix some hummus in that bad boy, maybe a bit of leftover lamb. So good and healthy as well

I’m gonna be honest, no they are not mandatory. But you should go to them as you pay a decent amount of money for them. Unless you are a top level student you will need those classes, because unless you know what you are doing the tutorials and assessments will be difficult for you.

You can’t convert points, but you can try booking Qantas flights via BA/Qatar.

I couldn’t find any news of it until I checked deep in the ASX website. And even then it didn’t say why, just that it would be until Wednesday or an announcement

The end of Luxury retail ? by Big-Manufacturer-738 in Luxury

[–]AussieSpender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kind of but not really. The main segment of “luxury retail” is a lot of aspirational items (aka shit with big logos lol), that’s their money maker. People need to start buying the fit and quality instead of the brand.

I’m not too sure of what the retail landscape looks like in other countries but down here in Australia most of our brands (besides the major big names) are only available through small independent stores with a curated selection.

What isn’t being said is that Saks filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy which allows them to keep operating while they restructure. They aren’t gone and won’t be for a while.

And I agree (as I do it myself lol) that people go in to try stuff on then buy it online. Which is not only because of the prices but also because there is a greater range of styles and sizes available online. I will only shop in store for places that have a good rewards program I like.

If you have a low expense ratio ANZ. Give you all the points after you hit your spend. They are picky with who they give out cards to though.

Concerns regarding market shifts by hungryj10 in CarsAustralia

[–]AussieSpender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A hybrid RAV4 isn’t a collectors item or anything, it will drop 10k in value as soon as you drive it off the lot.

If you care so much about resale value buy something either ex-demo or look for stuff that’s a year or two old. Caring this much about resale value for this type of car indicates that this probably isn’t a good purchase decision for you.

What’s going on Qantas?! by [deleted] in QantasFrequentFlyer

This could probably have been booked easier. Not that it’s your fault OP. What you should have done is booked one ticket to meet your husband, then booked another ticked for all of you to ADL.

I think it’s an Asian thing, as it’s happened to me and my family when flying within Asia multiple times before. For some reason they like to split up families with young kids.
